  1. Do i need to paint the silver rivets on the side of the radio that simulate the input jacks black? Thanks
  2. Here are some progress pics: drilled hole in mortar tube: more rounded end to right ide ot thigh ammo strap: filled in tool pouch on shoulder strap: Hoping to have everything on the backpack finished this weekend except the larger black disc behind the tupper ware piece. I need to find a replacement for that.
  3. whatdo you mean by the drilled holes in the upper section of the mortar tube? Any pics for reference? Thanks
  4. Here are my weathered elastic straps: old ones with the snaps are on the chest armor: I am like a lumberjack. I just keep chipping away. Thanks for looking.
  5. Gees i hope that is not true about the forearms. Here is the picture I am looking at that has 11 on the right arm. Let me know if I am wrong.
  6. Here are new pics of me suited up. These are to show the new toned down weathering and the ouch placement. I am still working on the thigh issues and the packback. Let me know if any of thes eor the previous photos check off any more boxes or if I need to resubmit everything at the end. Front Up Close (toned down weathering) Front Full Length: Right Side: Left Side: Back: Right Side Pouches: left Side Pouches (no small Spanish Pouch): Please ignore the left thigh, it came undone and has since been fixed. I can supply photos if necessary. I am in the process of getting the supplies I need for the pack and talking with troopers on how best to fix my thighs. I am afaraid I might need to buy new ones. Hopefully these last few rounds of photos got me closer to getting my armour SWAT approved. Thanks for the help and the advice. If anyone has some suggestions on getting new thighs that are meant to fit bigger troopers let me know. Thanks
  7. you two need to get a room.
  8. That review was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. A lot more work than I wanted to do but not so bad. Here are some updated photos: No mesh on the teeth (what did you think I was a rookie ) Paldron with circle stain detail: left side with not small Spanish pouch (I put it in the photo for proof): filled in ammo strap hole (this was done a while ago before i was approved): gloves: Weathering specific to Move A Long Trooper on left fore arm: I will start toning down the weather tomorrow. I ordered additional parts for my back pack and i am trying to figure our how to fix the thighs. I will keep you up dated. Thanks for the feedback.
  9. Here is the backpack without the stickers: Here is the chest plate with the more subdued weathering: new E-11: Two Sets of Gloves: 16 Tubes Stripes on the Left: Let me know what else needs to be done. Thanks for the input and encouragement guys.
  10. rhapsodyred99, thanks for the advice. My helmet does have 16 stripes on the left side. That is the wrong pic. I had to have 15 in order to get approved. My GML would not let me do the 16 so i had to cover it up and then get approved and then add it back. I will post the correct photo tomorrow. I can and will get the thighs higher. Do I need to submit a photo of that? Connecting the bicep to the forearms I can not do unless i buy new fore arms. They are crazy tight. I have both set of handplates and will submit photos of both sets side by side tomorrow. The Spanish pouch was only there for Free Comic Book day. I use it to hold cards. I can take a pick of it off the belt if necessary. I definitely did not think your comments were nit picky, I knew my armor would be gone over with a fine tooth comb for this so no worries. Thanks for the compliment on the shoulder pouch. I actually created an adjustable system that allows me to lower or raise it pretty easy so after a bunch of adjustments i got it where I liked it. Just glad you guys like it there too.
  11. Name: Chris Grace Legion ID #: TD-5631 Forum Name: DarthGrace Garrison: Excelsior Trooper Emulated: Move A Long Armor: ATA Front: Right Side: Left Side: Back (Backpack by Quarter Master): Gloves flexible hand guards (I have a set of the correct and incorrect hand guard position): Green Lenses: Canvass Shoulder Straps: Left Helmet Tube Stripes: Right Helmet Tube Stripes: Left Side Ab Plate: Right Ab Side with button: Rounded Belt Edges: Cod Piece and Butt Plate Buttons: Rounded Knee Ammo Band: E-11 D Ring: Let me know if there is anything else needed.
  12. I love my ATA kit. My only complaint is that I am a little too big for it so the chest/back plates are a little small and the thighs are a little tight. But I knew I was pushing it size wise when i ordered it. Lucky for me the pouches hide the extra black at my shoulder area. I highly recommend the kit.
  13. Great idea. Nicely done.
  14. I think I missed out on that one. Amazing job!
  15. wow! where did you get this? Is it a kit?
  16. Sorry to see you leave. Thanks for helping me with my recent build. Your emails and advice really helped. I can understand the family and money issues. My wife and I are both attorneys and we have 2 boys under 4 yrs old. I can also understand that sometimes the issues and conflicts in your garrison can make things less than fun or can take away from the enjoyment of trooping. Just know that this decision maybe final now but you could always do another build if you change your mind in the future. Good luck buddy and May the Force be with you!
  17. great news. enjoy the build!
  18. thanks guys. cant wait to get a few more under my belt. the TD really appeals to the law and order side of me. I like interacting with the crowd.
  19. Here I am protecting Lord Vader as he drops the puck at the Binghamton Senators game: here is another: This was a fun first troop. Cant wait to do more.
  20. this going to be a great year. congrats boss!
