Yes we had a blast. It was my first real game! I went to a pre season before and we lost, but its totally different at a regular season game. Theres so much more fans, its crazy!!!

My day started with a visit from Roland (TD-2231). He's on vacation from his home country of Germany, out here in San Diego for the air show and then off to Las Vegas. But first a visit to Trooperbay for some swag . Sure was a pleasure to meet him.. a fellow Sandtrooper grunt! Then my wife and I were off to the Chargers game WHAT A TREAT!!! Had to get one of these!!! Just outside the stadium in the plaza level Save the Ta-Ta's Pics with the Charger Girls!! Brunch Tailgate party??? Hellz Yeah!! Cheerleaders on the field for the pre-show Right before the game starts Sippin' a COLD one Finally a day with my wife alone for a while The day finished off with the Chargers killing the dolphins and us going home sunburnt and tired, but very grateful for such a fine day. Life is GOOD!!!

I just used industrial strength velcro and stuck the furry part on the inside of the radio plate as a hinge with the adhesive side holding the door and the box together.

Awesome. I found about three different ones and just set them to loop. I used my daughters ipod nano for the day and bought a portable speaker set from radioshack. The whole thing was like $40.00. Plugged everything in and put the MP3 playerin the radio box. Sounded great!!

Comic-Con is the largest con I know of and they could care less if Star Wars characters come or not. Its huge. Bleeds over into downtown San Diego. A real circus. They make everyone pay. If you have a pro pass and work in an industry associated with entertainment or comics, you might be able to get in free. The 501st gets a free table on a floor that is not near the main sales floor. We are allowed to come in early and stay late because we have to set up and break down the tables and displays every day. But they still charge admission. One way too, is to volunteer at a convention booth for a few hours. Sometimes the booth owners will get you a pass. My rule for me is: If you ask me to be a part of an event then I get in free and expect water and a place to change at the very least. I also would hope that my wife and 2 kids could get in too if its an event for children. Like "lego land". Otherwise I dont go. I have been used so many times. Driven hours , paid to get in, fed myself, drove home tired. For what? I dont do that any more.

Talent should never pay. But I think Cons are different because you are just a FAN. We are always popular but the staff doesnt care at the conventions.
