  1. LOL!! I was thinking the same thing!!!! Most some go there on preview night and leave a pit stop vehicle in the basement, then hitch rides from the hotels or friends house. I tried getting there about 7 or 8 and parking across the street. Major pain in the ***. Dragging a bin for about a 1/4 mile to the con sucks. I have parked at Qualcomm stadium and ridden the trolley in armor to avoid it, but thats bad news too. Takes forever to get there. Last year I parked downtown and rode a free bus from the lot. They stowed my bin and we pulled up right in front of the Con. Best way so far. The bus leaves every 15 minutes and there is minimal walking. ugh.
  2. I will prolly be there. Dont have a costume right now though.
  3. Whats is made of? Cracked??? Gino armor with cracks? I look forward to your talented build!
  4. I did that once with a pallet dolly. I ripped my big toe nail up away from the skin. It fell of a week later. I feel your pain!!

  15. Well its the weekend.... I am finally off work at a decent time. Thank you my lord for a job!!! Anyway! I wanted to start the Move Along build with some reference pics. All of these are from Jez\' website, http://www.starwarshelmets.com. Hopefully he will not mind me putting them here for us to refer to as I take a turn with this great helmet from ANH. So Here\'s some pics...
  16. I am building a TE2 helmet for a guy named Jesse. He wants a Move Along style helmet. In the following weeks I will be going through all the steps and fully documenting the entire build. I will also post as many reference pics as I can find. Should be fun!!! The kit arrived today so I will probably begin this weekend as long as the super bowl doesnt get in my way too much Updated 020909 Cutting the faceplate Part_01 Part_02 Part_03 Part_04 Part_05 Cutting the Bumpy Cap n' Back Part_01 Part_02 Part_03 Part_04 Cutting the Ears Part_01 Part_02 Part_03 Part_04 Mounting the Faceplate to the Bumpy Cap n' Back Part_01 Mounting the Ears Part_01 Part_02 Part_03 Assembly Wrap Up Part_01
