  1. That pack looks great. Now I know I 'm going to have to do the #4. More inspiration. Thanks!
  2. Thanks guys, You know you can really use these cases for just about anything. I was surprised that the inside rubber fit the Rom board perfectly. I took the top part out and used it on the bottom. It cushions the whole thing nicely and no rattling around.
  3. LOL! Nope not gonna repaint the TX. I've got a AP that I'm working on for my Sandy and I just got a nice Big Brown Box from TM for my TK. I made the BFG to go with the TX and put it together fast with a quick paint job. I've been on vacation and had some time so I was reading your post and thought it was time to do it proper. Thanks again for the inspiration.
  4. Finally got around to finishing my Home-Grown BFG. I had my wisdom teeth pulled and maybe it's the meds but I think it turned out alright. I did the Rub-n-Buff Black Wash. Thanks for the inspiration Woodman to finally get it finished. What it looked like before the paint and how I can break it down to transport. O and Me and my Shadow before the repaint........I'm working on my Sandy..
  5. Well I was fortunate to be able to buy a Rom/Fx Pro from a fellow Sandy right here. I wanted a way to be able to use it in all of my sets of armor. so I was walking around and saw a discarded DS case from one of my kids recent upgrades and thought, "Hmmmmmm I wonder?" Yep it will fit. Pretty basic really, I didn't have to de-solder any thing I just moved the wires around. The plan is to mount it in the back of my armor by velcro and the feed the wires around to the front to the Aker amp. I can use it in all of my sets now.
  6. Being one........This is incredibly useful and will help with consistency. Great Job Now which pack and pauldron.......Hummmmmm who was wearing that upside down radio.....Oh Ya!!
  7. Who would'a thought? "Hey has anyone seen my lunch. I had it in a Tupperware tote?"
  8. Yep that is it. I just hadn't noticed it before. Here is another pic of the right side. Is he wearing a black pauldred?
  9. Okay I was reading through a post about the pauldren colors and saw this. Is this another version of a pack?
  10. What style of rivets are those? Where can I get those in the U.S.? Looking AWESOME!
  11. Now that Is What I'm Talking About! Great Job!!
  12. Yes that is exactly what I was talking about. Is it agreed these are the "Standardized" measurements? I think you are on the right track of making something that is going to be extremely helpful resource.
  13. This is cool. Is there a way to add the dimensions? Or a scale to use? It would be nice for those that are planning to make one from scratch. Or, is there a post that gives the proper dimensions for the tool box or the radio. If so, then we can scale from that. I'm just thinking since you have the back pack why reinvent the wheel and try to figure these out. Hope this makes since.....
  14. Nol is right on the money. I have one and it is AWESOME!! Money well spent!!
  15. I'm glad also to see the turn away from the FX lid. It is just hard to look at. There are so many other nicer choices and it shows.
  16. Another thing to consider is, how soon do you want your armor. TM is a very busy person and it can take a while to get a set of TM. ( You have to get on a list) TE2 may be a little easier to get a set. But I believe he too has a list. One thing is for sure either is the best when it comes to quality and screen acurate armor. Good luck and you can't go wrong with your choice between the two.
  17. This is where I got mine. Hard to beat this price. Died them black they look great. http://www.redfordfilms.com/product/AC802205/German-WWII-MP-40-Mag-Pouch-Set.html
  18. Ok Let us know the Pricing........................
  19. TE2 is a great choice. The Helmet ROCKS! Keep up the Pics and Posts looking forward to seeing more.
  20. I second the question. I too am waiting for word to get tarted on my radio. ANYTHING??
  21. That is COOL. I really like the new added features of Google maps. It has been awhile since I had used it. Just amazing really. Thanks For the find!
