Yeah, bro. I live in NYC too. I NEVER have mine out unless I have my armor on. Then, cops have always pretty cool as far as even taking pictures with us. Sometimes we do out of town troops and those of us without cars have to take trains. If you take your gun out in the open at Penn Station or Grand Central Station, I promise you you'll get busted. Just play it smart and keep it well hidden until it's time. It's tough with a BFG. I just wrap mine in bubble wrap until it's unidentifiable.

We might as well carry real guns if we get treated the same way.

I have two new blasters for various use. These are for when taking my BFG is just too big of a pain. For out of town troops, I have a Hyperfirm E-11 which is very durable and can easily squeeze into my storage tote. For in town troops where TK armor is needed, I have a bit nicer Itchy Nuts Designs E-11. The counter even has 2243 on it. Pretty cool, eh?

All of the Scott Joiner/Kurtz stuff is real. I bought a script off him in the past. Wasn't anywhere near the price these things are going for. In all fairness, it could have been in pieces before it was 'restored'. We're assuming it just had chipped paint, etc. Granted, I would think repainting it would devalue it as well.

So, I'm getting some comments about my TD photo, how the gun needs to look hollow for the pose I have. Is anyone Photoshop savvy? A friend of mine tried to do it, but it didn't look very good. Let me know if you might be able to help.

My goal from the get go was to get into the MEPD, NOT just the 501st. The 501st is an awesome entity, but any clown with a pauldron and hasbro pistol and get a TD signification. I actually wish the 501st had standards as strict as this. I'm super proud to be a part of the MEPD. WE are where it's at! Accuracy is everything. Our goal should be to get MORE of the sandtroopers from the 501st into here so that all the sandtroopers across the legion are more uniform. It's all good. It's all make-believe anyway.

Apologies don't mean much if the guilty party doesn't do anything to remedy the situation. Suppose Dell sold one of you a computer, took 4-8 months to ship it, and it showed up not fully put together, you'd probably never do business with them again. They can apologize all day long, but they have to go the extra mile to make things right, not the customer nagging them. I advise people to find a used one. It took me so long to get my ID#, that all of the numbers I wanted were snatched as I waited. Sounds cheesy, I know, but I picked significant Bible verses for my number. I really wanted 2221, which is the last verse in Revelation. I ended up going with 2 Samuel 22:43 "Then I pulverized them as the dust of the earth; I crushed and stamped them as the mire of the streets." I thought it was just a brutal verse. TD-2243
