Nol, I used this shareware program called goldwave. Here's what I could do. I could easily make this one longer or make an entirely new one. Anybody wanting to get into the NEW loop, start posting over here. http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=5867

I didn't realize that the other thread could be viewed by everyone. I moved the link here for MEPD/501st members only. In fact, this was getting added onto a DVD along with the speaker being sold on the forums right now. I wasn't ****** or anything, just a little bummed as I really wanted this loop stay to "in the family". Here's what I need from you guys/gals: SUPER clear recordings of yourself saying various sentences, etc. Whatever you want, but record various things and a minute or so. I probably won't use everything you send, it just depends what still sounds good after being manipulated, etc. Send files in mp3 format around 196. I have a bunch of new sound FX to work with, but the loop will be along the same lines. Maybe not as long, just depending on who wants in (or unless we extend the first). I should probably have a deadline by which I need your files so I can work on it. Say October 31 get your files to me?

Since people are digging this so much, maybe I'll make another file specifically for TK's, since this one sort of revolves around Tatooine. Thanks for the encouragement. For the empire, Skutch.

I have a hyperdyne but it is SUPER finicky. I'm seriously about to junk it. It isn't even working right now.

I was asleep as well during the actual event but awoke to a million sirens buzzing down the street. I looked out my Brooklyn window to see nothing but smoke coming from downtown. A frightening day. When the wind would shift, the smoke would come in our window and we would could smell the death coming from that place for days at a time. Truly haunting and I'll never forget.

Stay tuned folks. I never found my battery charger so I had to order another one for my camera. Video as soon as that arrives.

Yeah, so yesterday I spent awhile attaching the radio with a small hinge. Worked like a charm and it ain't fallin' off. I can't find the charger for my camera, so no pics yet. I'm looking for it though.

I'm thinking of getting a hinge and screwing it to the radio and the pack. That way it will stay on pretty secure and I can lift it to get to the speaker and mp3 player. I need to go look at hinges first to really see if it will work.

Got mine too and LOVE it. How did you guys attached yours?

Yours truly appeared on FOX News Channel this morning to support the interview with Jeff Romanoff and Eric Seeman. We are super proud of those guys, especially Eric. The segment was pretty long and I appeared in my Sandtrooper costume (no backpack). I also only took my E11 because it can be tricky with security and such with the T21. (I hope I didn't let the MEPD down.) We also had a Vader, Jango, Scout and TK. It was really fun and I had quite of camera time, partly because I tried to be fairly animated and move around some. Any chance of having a working speaker inside that we could hook the MEPD MP3 Loop up to? OR, are they hollow inside and could a radio shack speaker go in it? That would be amazing if possible.

This detachment rules. Keep up the good work!

From what I understand. HWT is a TK with a pauldron and BFG. They absolutely have dots instead of changed ab plates. Basically, some artist was trying to draw a sandie and didn't know the difference. He wa also clean. But since everything LFL approves is "gospel", then the HWT was born. There are TK's in A New Hope with big guns, but the pauldron is what supposedly gives them the HWT designation. Someone feel free to correct me if my knowledge of this is wrong. My belief, although this clearly isn't the Legions, is that if it isn't good enough for a detachment, then it shouldn't get that ID. I actually deleted my last post from the 501st forum, because I didn't want you to think any of my anger toward the HWT costume was directed at you, Daetrin. make sense?

Guys, I was just looking at the newly published version of the CRL. http://www.501stlegion.org/crl/index.php Shouldn't Heavy Weapons Trooper be in the Stormtrooper category? I personally don't want it lobbed in with us. Anything we can do about that? skutch
