TK9965
Troops, The allure of a Darth Vader costume has taken me over completely. I must obey my master and complete this task. This means that I must sell my armor, unfinished backpack and my unfinished resin MG-34. Don't get me wrong, I've always loved being a stormtrooper. Here in east central Illinois we really need a Vader. I've always been a little tall for a trooper, but this is good for Vader. Besides, my first Star Wars costume was Vader, so it only makes sense. Circle is now complete and all that. This picture is probably from 1979. Don Post helmet and cardboard armor. The costume was made by my grandmother. Anyway, I'll be selling my sandie stuff and you guys will get the first chance at it. I even have a couple of Marmit sandtroopers for sale. More on that later. TD-1536
Good luck! If I was taller and more buff, you bet your britches I'd do Vader!
TK9965
Mike, Thanks for all of your help with the sandtrooper stuff. The guys over at the Sith Lord detachment have been helpful as well. I've already got a good lead on a bucket. If I was taller and more buff, you bet your britches I'd do Vader! This is exactly why I'm doing it! I've always been a little big for a trooper in my opinion. For the most part I looked okay, but even when I lose my gut, I still won't look like a trooper from the movie. I'm just particular about things like that. My body style fits Vader much better.

Ryn_Skywalk
Good for you bro! I'm already working on an accurate Anakin Skywalker/Pre-suit Vader. Don't get me wrong though, I'm still keeping my sandy, but I'm also going to troop as Vader-kin as well. Good luck!
IanL
I'm with you bro I was pursuing a TD when a great deal for Vader parts landed in my lap. However due to several circumstances, I have now turned my TD parts into a Dengar, and my Vader is still sitting in a box about 80% completed My guess is you'll be back eventually. Feel free to stick around and help out.

SethB6025
A Vader is a most honourable choice, best of luck to you with it. Like Mike said, if I was a little taller/built I'd do Vader in a heartbeat.
