  1. Seth, I'd be interested in getting all three, let me know when your taking orders
  2. Mike, I believe the knee plate is flat. I work tonight, but get off around 7:50(unless it rains, then work is cancelled). I can make it up to your apartment in about 20 minutes from my work,so let me know if that's cool. Thanks!
  3. Hey guys, Instead of PMing one of you I'd figure i would make this a public post in case anyone else had the same question. I really want to put my diamond knee plate on before the upcoming Zoo Boo event this saturday, but don't have any left over plastic for my armor to use as backing. Is there anything else i could use to back it up, OR can i just glue it with Devcon to left calf/leg armor as is?...and about how high should the knee plate be on the leg? I know there use to be a tutorial somewhere on these boards, but i havn't been able to find it. Thanks guys, Ryan
  4. Good for you bro! I'm already working on an accurate Anakin Skywalker/Pre-suit Vader. Don't get me wrong though, I'm still keeping my sandy, but I'm also going to troop as Vader-kin as well. Good luck!
  5. looking good...just remember a little dirt goes a long way.
  6. I've seen all those babies up close and they are saweeet!!
  7. I'm 5"11 and weigh around 150 lbs, and the AP armor fits me prettty good. Granted, I had to glue some foam pieces in my gauntlets and thighs, and Mike also had to trim the thighs a good bit when helping me assemble my armor, but overall I'm really happy with it.
  8. Seth, you truely are the Mr. Miyagi of the MEPD boards.
  9. Ahh, those helmets are sick!! I must aquire a Gino helmet in the near future.
  10. I just want to apologize if my last post sparked more flames, i just had to get that point of my chest.
  11. The one thing that got me heated the most was the comments made about "OLD LINE VETS" as you put it. First off, there is only probably 6 of us on here that actually represent old line. I think it was very immature on your part to throw our garrison out there and make us look bad for no reason at all. You want to talk about helping, sharing, and brotherhood? Old Line has been nothing but that! Between Mike helping Phil and I put our armor together, to Charlie letting us use his basement for armor parties and to vac-form backpack parts, everyone in Old Line helps each other. I would appreciate it if you would do your best(i know its hard) to NOT badmouth other garrisons, while trying to make yours look better, because in reality, it just makes your garrison 'brothers' look as immature as you. ...end rant.
  12. Awesome armor!!! AP Represent
  13. I know i havn't been here too long, but i just want to say that i think this board and the people who run it are great. In a few short months i've learned so much and have wanted to strive for movie accuracy so much more...mainly due to fellow OLG member,Mike(1536) But in all seriousness, i've felt nothing but warm welcomes from everyone on these boards, and the positive comments on my new armor were great as well. I know some people might think of me as a noob, don't worry i do too, but it's people like Seth,Mike, and many others who make you feel like you've been doing this for years. thanks again guys!
  14. So i picked up the Wet Ones bottles at Target today, they were in a pack..2 for $3! So tomorrow i think i'm going to prime, paint, and weather the suckers and post some progress pics. Also...Mike, I may have missed this already, but how much length/width should i take off of the bottles?
  15. Hey Guys, I really appreciate all the compliments my new armor has recieved over the past few days, but i owe alot of that to Mike(1536) for helping me put the actual armor together..Thanks Again Mike!
