trooper1
Hey just a question from time past. Years ago we had a head cover, Beret, hat or something in desert tan. Is that something we did as a detachment? I remember the small patches? Just don't remember the cover. and if so? Is that something we would want to do as a uniform kind of cover? Just wondering?
henselmonster
I think that would be an awesome Idea. Something a bit more uniform. Thats a bit before my time here, but I love the beret patches!
henselmonster
I think a beret, side cap, or even a custom imperial officer cap would be super cool.
Airborne Trooper
I'd be down for an officer cap but my days of wearing a beret are over. I've only worn a maroon beret and it is now with all my Army gear for sentimental reasons.
dutchy
I'm personally a big fan of the WWII american officer garrison cap. I have one with the correct piping( Military Police) as we are the military police of the Empire. Piping is the colour of the rim that can be seen on the edges.

henselmonster
I bet we could find a sewing pattern, maybe someone with some sewing skills could make a few in our own custom color?
henselmonster
Maybe it would be cool to have different divisions for the patches. Like dewback riders, etc.? Similar to this patch
Airborne Trooper
That would be too big. That's for shoulder division patch insignia.
trooper1
Yeah too big. On the hat though?? Hmm pattern would be interesting if one could be attained. Yes

It was just an example, it would be reworked into a round patch design, along with other versions.

Airborne Trooper
Maybe an incorporation of the dewback silhouette you have designed for that tshirt a while back?
trooper1
Interesting? I may have to order the download to see. The only issue is figuring size. And material

Fraulein
I rocked a fez earlier this year. We were messing around in a surplus shop that had militaria. It was a waffen fez though. So I could see people getting upset with that buuuut it did look snappy. A Glengarry cap was spiffy as well.
Asher
Any thoughts on the color of this Garrison hat. I think the cover sounds like a great idea. After looking around I have seen several designs on Garrison caps and similar types have you guys picked one ? Asher
