What kind of Davon Felth do you like to emulate? It looks like the 'look sir droid' scene? If yes, the setup is right.

Just check the position of your shot shells and replace your boots;-)

The splash on your bucket is really cool but add more dirty to your armor...it looks so white

Just a couple of things. But sorry to say the biggest is the boots. Unless something has changed recently caboots are not legion or SWAT approvable because of the sew line across the top of the boot.

Very sorry bro.

The other thing would just be weathering of the oil splatter across the chest. Just a little work there could enhance it just a bit.

This looks like a good start Damian. Good to finally submit your SWAT armor for evaluation. I know you've been working on it for some time now.

There seems to be some details here and there, but I am sure Mike will soon give you some stuff to work with.

I can see that besides the boots that have been already notice, your pouches will need some mods, specially on the flaps. Also, your belt could be trimmed closer to the boxes... some details on the pack might be in order too.

But hey, this isn't a walk in the park after all... but talking the fist step is as important as the following ones.

During this process, there may be some mods that will need to be taken care of. Details that need to be even more fine tuned in comparison to past SWAT members. The bar is always being set higher.


As stated before, we always stress PATIENCE during this process as we pay more and more attention to fine tuning with each new SWAT applicant. The MEPD Senior Commanders and myself will give your armor / gear a full inspection and review. 2.) Your Boots appear a bit too shiny. See if you can give them more of a matte look

3.) Your canvas pouch is acceptable, but you need to remove the badge/pin. Also the flaps on your leather pouches are not up to spec. Please use the ref pic below your pic and try to mod/shape your flaps to match those of the pouches shown.

4.) The pauldron can use a little more weathering and a bit more matte appearance.

5.) It might be the lighting, but your overall suit can use a bit more weathering / accents. If your armor is ok on weathering, you may want to post new pics of the rig in a different light.

Just my opinion here, but might it be worth adding some brown into the weathering? It's looking quite black in places at the moment. Maybe a light wash of watered down brown just to give it a sand beaten feel?

I am using this pigments like my predecessors .

The weathering looks great, I just think adding another base coat of brown would make it a lot more authentic. The weathering is meant to be caused by being out in the dunes of Tattooine, so it's going to have a sandy colour to it. I would maybe try diluting some light brown or sand coloured paint with water & dab over with a sponge just to get a really light coat over the lighter areas. Again, this is just my opinion though
