The Saga continues.................

In a far and distant galaxy, there is a planet with two moons. On this planet there is a small workshop, called "The Hole in the wall".

WoodChuck owns this establishment. The exact location is hidden by the shadow of one of the two moons. All life forms, even droids

are welcome here. Two super battle droids and a full body/mind scanner protect the shop from any wrong doing. It is known throughout

the galaxy that this is the place to come for quality products offered at a fair price. However, today the shop is closed. It's owner

has departed on a long journey..............

Recently, WoodChuck had to travel all the way to Hoth to deliver a run of clone long rifle blasters. He arrived during a huge white-out, a condition

caused by intense blowing snow which renders all direction finders, even GPS, useless. "It's like flying into a giant sponge," one traveler

said just before flying into the side of a large elevated land mass.

WoodChuck had been here before. He knew about where his destination should be, so he set his ship down as slowly as possible.

Just before touchdown, he saw a faint glimmer of light, and knew he was on course. It was the beacon placed above the power station.

Dressed for the extreme cold, he opened the pressure chamber door, and instantly felt the frigid night air blast against him.

The snow seemed packed enough to walk on, so he began to make his way to the power station. Then he heard a sound that stopped

him in his tracks. It was a cross between a whimper and a shrill moan. WoodChuck stood motionless, his hand on his blaster.

Squinting into the night, he saw a shadow just ahead. It screamed again, louder then before. As WoodChuck approached, blaster at the ready,

he saw the biggest taun taun he had ever seen. It was slumped over on it's side, it's breathing was labored. There were no signs of this one being

domesticated and trained as a ride for the snow patrols. This one was wild. It was also a female, and she looked up as he approached her.

But then a strange thing happened. Instead of charging, she just nudged a small lump of snow toward the intruder. Then she fell silent.

Woodchuck looked down and saw that the snow ball was moving. Then he realized that it was a baby taun taun, as it's tail began whipping in all directions.

He took off his outer parka and covered the baby creature. Without the warmth of it's mothers embrace, the baby would freeze within minutes.

Once inside the power station, WoodChuck examined the parka's contents. The baby looked healthy. It's eyes were big and clear, and it

had a nice sized set of horns already starting to sprout from the sides of it's skull. Each hind leg only had three toes, instead of four.

Then he realized that taun tauns must grow the forth toe like a dewclaw, as they age. "You're Coming home with me. I have a little toddler

that will give you all the love and attention you are going to need," Woodchuck whispered as he made his way back to his ship to tuck the baby

creature safely aboard while he completed his mission.................Here's a photo:
