I was flipping through a Star Wars book and it mentions the Burning Sands Sandtrooper Squad in the description of the T-21. "The T-21 proved a common support weapon for the army and stormtrooper squads. For Example, the Burning Sands sandtrooper squads sent to Tatooine to recover the droids Artoo-Detoo and See-Threepio used T-21s as their primary support weapons." (Smith, 1997, p.12-13) Smith, B. They are "Fresh Fish" when they land and immediately go out looking for two droids.
