feezle Posted June 26, 2011 Share Posted June 26, 2011 I just picked up a pair of these for $25 shipped on ebay: I want to make them into some custom electrobinoculars. Anyone ever done this before? I was going to do a Radica conversion but these ended up being cheaper and will be functional as real binoculars just in case I'm trooping and a little kid wants to look through them. I'm planning on using them on non-weapons events so I have some kind of accessory. Hoping I can paint them up without ruining them. A little smaller than I thought they would be and quite a bit lighter. Will be great for trooping! I may tear them apart at some point and try putting them in an accurate kit, but for now I will just be painting these up and weathering them. They will look the part in a less-than-canon way.
