sandtrooper
I've been using acrylic paint on my armor for weathering. Can this be used on boots and pauldrons as well?
sandtail6
I used the same paint on armor, boot, pauldron, pouches, and blaster. Worked out pretty well. still want to do a light spray with flat sealer and dust it a little bit with fullers earth while it's still tacky. FIVE
Yep... worked for me too. The only thing I didn't use it on was my canvas pouch... it has real dirt.
pandatrooper
As long as you use good quality artist acrylics, it will work fine. Do not use cheap "craft" paint. Acrylic with good binders are best IMO like Liquitex, etc. Here's my pauldron and boots and armor, all using quality acrylic.
DirtyBoy
I actually went for natural sand and grout mixture for mine. It gave it a real texture and look.
sandtrooper
Liquitex is the acrylic I'm using. I need to get some other colors to add some variety since I only have burnt umber right now.
tk7713gra30
I would say pigments, espcially for soft as it is basically dust. Put on and brush off, there is a link to pigments on here. I must say that the weathering on here is superb with all mediums, so there is no rule. Just try Gra
