ground pounder
Finally! All completed!!!! 2 days before CV! My link My link My link My link Have to adjust the shoulder pouch. And of course some straps were not sticking correctly (sewed them already). The only disappointing thing was the right shin. When I opened it to slide it onto my leg, the E6000 glue popped off the shim in the front. Luckily I still had the inside taped together. So after the pictures, I applied more E6000 and have it taped and clamped now. Guess I better bring the tape to CV (just in case). Next will be the backpack. Overall I really enjoyed the build. And the weathering came out great. Even surprised me about how atcually dirty it looked. Thanks for all the help. Any comments are welcomed! Headcount
Looks fantastic, Brian! Have a great time trooping CV! I'll bet you're glad you caught the weakness in the right shin ahead of time.
Headcount
Oh, you mentioned adjusting the shoulder pouch. I'm not sure if this is what you're referring to, but I know some of the guys have moved the little tool-kit pouch in more toward the center of the pouch itself for more screen accuracy. It also seems to help reduce the dangling effect. Again, great work! The weathering really did turn out well. Cheers!
FIVE
Looks great man! It'll look better once you get that pack. And yeah, when you're back and an official TD, and applying for deployment (which we all expect) you'll want to move that little pouch "inward" on your shoulder. Looks good though for CV! Do us proud!
Gordonator
Looks awesome Brian! Great work. Don't forget to send these pics to your GML to get your TD approved.
