So anyways, the armour is complete, still have to do the rigging, but all snaps are in place, so what better time, and weather (get it) to start weathering ;D The first pics are of the completed set, I decided to use the bucket that came with the kit. I pulled out the bubble lenses, which were never right anyway and painted the proper TD panels on. I then used the darkest burnt umber, a sponge and PLENTY of paper napkins, and set to work....that was Saturday covered. Yesterday I applied a lighter red/yellowish tinge...which was perfect. The darker colour does most of the work in my opinion...the rest is just subtle detailing. It's pretty much done, I'm just taking the bucket a little bit slower.
