FIVE
Starting to do my TD backpack (thanks to my wife and my upcoming birthday) and so I'm gathering info (as some of you know) and looking to start getting parts, etc. I'm wondering if anyone has a great online, step-by-step tutorial for doing them? Also... any info (or links to threads with info) on suppliers, etc. would be appreciationated. Thanks guys!
TD-1536
Welcome! Building a great backpack is both challenging, yet very rewarding when done right. For all it's simplicity, building one neatly, cleanly and strong enough to withstand the rigors of trooping is certainly a difficult task. I would recommend starting here for a good base-level of ideas and expand out. http://tk1536.com/mh_backpack_instructions/page1.html As far as I can tell, the only person who's getting parts out regularly is the Crashmann. I should have some nice radio alternatives within the next month.

And I have a pretty tight grip on these forums... I suppose what Leia said was true, the tighter the grip the more things slip through your fingers...
