Rolf
Hi gang. Got my sci-fire team/Braksbuddy ANH replica pouches today, and love them. I gave them a personal touch, to make them looked more used and old. Here you see the pouch like i got it: I add some hot wather on them, and squeeze them to give them the right shape. Here you see it after.

Ph1l2007
Dang it rolf, why do you have to do everything so perfect? I thought my costume was good to go once I got these sci fire pouches, but now I have to do the hot water thing. Woul you please explain the process in a bit more detail? How hot does the water need to be? How long do you soak the pouches? What is the best way to squeeze the water out?

Rolf
Dang it rolf, why do you have to do everything so perfect? I thought my costume was good to go once I got these sci fire pouches, but now I have to do the hot water thing. Woul you please explain the process in a bit more detail? How hot does the water need to be? How long do you soak the pouches? What is the best way to squeeze the water out? Thanks for your kind replys every one . 1. I squeeze the pouch whit my hands, to make the round look go away. To make it more square a like, and look like there has been machine gun magasins in there. 2. I just take a bucket of hot wather, i don´t cook it up or nothing. 3. I just let is goes hot directly, from the tap. 4. I make new wather for each pouch, becaue the wather quick gets cold and black. (the wather gets black quick, but the pouch keeps all black) 5. I used a washing-up foam, get it all wet and let it goe all over the pouch. I squeeze the pouch, where i start to squezze it once again (its much more easy to do, now its all wet and hot). 6. I take some of the wather off whit a washing-up cloth, and squeeze the pouch to give its right form. 7. I then use a long spoon, to get to the bottom to make the shape of the pouch. The pouch pockets, are now more square a like and keep the shape like that. You can touch the pockets left and right, to make them like you like (make them more straight looking) The pouch drys up quick, after a few minutes. Its very easy and quick to do. (i was thinking about to use some wood in them, but i did not take the time to test it) Over and out, from Mr. floorwoodtrooperman

dutchy
Another great example of what to do to get that screen accurate look, love the job you pulled of there bro' and off course all the guys at Sci-Fire for making it all possible. Better make sure that all the pouches are on the floor when I walk in within a few weeks
