Awesome... you can see that they didn't have the hand backs done, the knees, belt and shoulder straps. So cool!!!

What video did these come from?

Thanks bro.

I saw them over at FISD, but i looks like the TD version.

So show him here :D .

Also the boxes, are mad big on the right leg :) .

Cheers.

Nice bro, that must have been an early test, of a td, doesn't have the big schoulderstraps but the knee on the left leg is totally of.

Cool anyway.

I'm going wreck diving today :D

Thanks bro.

These are grabs from a screen test at Elstree Studios that Brian Muir has very kindly shared. This is how he sculpted the armour and then extra parts were added or swiitched around at a later date. I remember asking Brian a while back about the belt canister, knee plates, drop boxes ect. and he said he did not sculpt them, so what you see above is what Brian sculpted.

Remember that the Sandtroopers were filmed first in Tunisia, then extra parts were added to make the Stormtrooper. This could have been done while the filming was taking place in Tunisia, to make up for lack of extra parts of the Sandtroopers uniform, so the Stormtrooper didn't look so plain.

Copy that.

Every thing was just a creative stage back then.

Also the man, in Rocko´s picture.

Show he´s version of the ANH storm trooper.

Looks way of, when we look at it today.

Cheers bro´s :) .

I had the D + M show on a disc, along with a few other old shows featuring Star Wars characters, but lost it somewhere :o

Just waiting now to see more of this footage. I think it's great that we are finally seeing this after all this time. I'm sure there is plenty more of unseen stormtrooper footage just waiting to be released :D
