Dreaming of Being Sandy

So I've been dreaming of modding my TK and going sandy and just wanted to start getting input.

This wouldn't be something I would do / begin until probably December or January, but I'm thinking about it now. The thing is I can't afford to do 2 suits, not for much longer at least, so it would be mod my TK (currently FX armor) or just wait all together until I get more armor accurate armor one day (which I plan on doing anyway) and THEN mod my current FX.

I also only have the one bucket right now as I'm giving my FX to my brother.

It's the idealized MR CE...

Reasons I think I'd make a good TD...

1) I live in Albuquerque, NM... so I'm IN the desert.

2) I would love to weather my stuff!

Reasons I would stick with my clean white TK...

1) I love my TK... I just finished modding my bucket too.

2) I know that TDs sometimes don't get to go to certain things.

Anyway... what are your thoughts? B)

You've come to the wrong place if want someone to say no don't do it!!!

Seriously, only you can make the decision... It sounds like you want to but can't take the plunge for reasons named here (you like your TK)... Stay as a clean TK for a while, enjoy what you have then come join the sand pit later... Not like we're going anywherer!!!

Haha... yeah, I came here to help push me I guess.

Yes, I'll enjoy the TK for a while yet... but these encouragements are great!

I think could add a reason #3 to do it... and that's what TD-1536 said... character.

Okay... after reading and studying like mad the last few hours here's my plan.

Keep my TK armor as is.

Save up and, in a few months, start getting a really good, screen accurate, set of TD armor!

It only took me reading the info and looking at the pics on this site, and this site, to see that if I'm gonna do it I should really do it right!

Hopefully, when the time comes, I'll be able to get hold of some TE stuff and go all out.

Until then, I'll be here... reading and learning. :)

Good conclusion. Many of us "cross dress" - you'll be in good company. Or you can convert now and then when you can get new stuff make it the more accurate suit. Dirt can hide a lot of small flaws / details that can't hide when you're clean.

Best: you win either way you decide to go.
