Mped Door Signs

OK, so here is what I'm looking for, a big freakin logo to put on the door of my truck.

First off, I'm new to this board. I'm on at GLG and FISD. I'm still an NCS for events but working my way to being a full 501st member.

Here is what I was thinking of doing. I have a brown Blazer and was thinking of a way to turn it into a "police" type vehicle for the 501st. Since it's brown the MEPD seemed to fit right along with what I was goin for. I can add lights and such from anywhere, but what I would need is a big old logo for the door, similar to a police shield (actually two, one for each side.)

Does such a thing exist? Does someone have a vector image of the logo that could be taken to a shop for printing one off?

I know there are rules around these logos and such so I want to be sure not to violate them but I think it would be cool to have the MEPD truck parked out front of the events, or leading the group in a parade, or part of the display area.

Feel free to comment or help a guy out.

Thanks.

Cool idea with good intentions.....wouldn't recommend a mimicking a police vehicle though. I can quote you many laws from here in Texas but I'd seek out your state's statutes (lights and color of lights, etc).

Fore sure legal all the way, the State of Michigan does have rules on color of lights and such. I will be looking more into the decals, I don't think there would be any issue with that unless it involved reflective paint, which I was not planning on. I was thinking yellow lights on the roof and some variations of flashing with existing front and rear lights. But yes, a good idea to check out state laws. Thanks for the feedback.

So its not a blazer...but something like this? i think it would be sweet......almost like the Airforce truck I used to see at my high school drill meets when I was in rotc

Yes that is the idea, my truck is a darker brown, like brown not dark enough to be confused with any other color, but not light enough to be tan either. So the colors would "pop" more. Then instead of call 911 like on police cars, put call 501.

Now I'll have to find a blazer image and do my own mockup. If I only had the time.
