  1. What type of tubes are you using on the MH/SB packs? Where did you get them? They can't be Alvin Ice Tubes because they are two wide. The caps in the MH/SB kit are a little bigger than 2".
  2. If someone can send me the hi-res artwork of the MEPD shield/badge I can start the process of getting some patches made up.
  3. Currently there is no such item as a large decal like you are talking about. And if one was produced it would need to be approved by the Legion Merchandising Officer and then would only be sold to 501st Legion members.
  4. It appears that with the move to the new forums that our quota for space in our private message mailbox was reduced. I noticed that mine was at 200% the first time I looked. I went through and deleted some stuff to get it down. But in trying to message others I'm getting an error saying that the users mailbox is full. Can we either increase the size of everyone's private message mailbox or send an announcement out telling people to clean them up? Thanks!
  5. What are the pouches on the bottom left called? I'm been looking for some on eBay but don't know what to search for.
  6. Someone nominated me also, but I've got to decline. Seth and Mike you've done a great job so far and you have my support in the coming year.
  7. I like 'em. How well did the paint stick? Can you show us a pic? I've been looking for some new boots that are more comfortable.
  8. Thanks again Seth and thanks all. I'm all for doing some trading cards. I'm not a photoshop guy, never used it, yet. But if someone wants to come up with a design and spearhead this I'll help out in every capacity that I can.
  9. Nice meeting you too brother. It was a great time.
  10. Here are my pics http://picasaweb.google.com/Rickard.Family/AllConn
  11. Not sure of the exact number, but at least 4.
  12. I've already pre-ordered the book. Sounds like it is going to be a great resource.
  13. I'll be at All-Con Friday and Saturday. Look forward to seeing you guys.
  14. Looking good and sandy. Welcome to the ranks.
  15. I've seen metal cogs on eBay before like as key chains. Not sure if that is big enough for you though. You might check it out.
  16. Most of the wrinkles are on the riser. I'm not very knowledgable about these things so I hope my questions don't get annoying. When using a Dremel to trim, how do you keep the plastic from getting hot enough to melt. What attachment do you use?
  17. Got my box of plastic yesterday. This is going to be my first real build of a prop, except my armor of course, and I've got a few questions. What is the best way to trim these pieces? What type of glue works best? Some of the pieces are cracked and have wrinkles. Is there a way to sand down the wrinkled plastic?
  18. Awesome!!! Thansk Mike for posting this. Great work!

    Howdy!

Welcome Brian, The troopers here truely are experts in all things Sandtrooper. I'd also suggest heading over to www.stargarrison.com. Star Garrison would be the "local" 501st garrison that you'd fall into. We have a few sandies over there including myself. I also live in the Houston area, Baytown to be exact, so if you ever need any help with assembly when you get your armor don't hesitate to ask.
  20. Welcome. We're here to please in all your dirty endevours.
