Guest TK-2416 Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 Hi Guys! TK turning TD... I have been using FISD alot - but now I think it is time to look more into MEPD, since I am going the TD way. Rolf has inspired me with his great looking armors and passion for the Sandtrooper... I am planning on going TD over the next month or so.. I have a new set of TE2 armor on its way to me.. Cant wait to get it.. Rolf - TD-252 - is in my garrison and he has already been helping me with alot of info... So far the following is on the way: TE2 armor and helmet Orange Pauldron Industrial velcro I have the following from my TK: Under armor neck seal Hyperfirm E-11 blaster gloves (Nomex) CABoots - but I may go for a new set of shoes.. Canvas belt Still to come: Lewis gun Back-pack Canvas shoulder straps Earth colors and hair spray Correct helmet paint or decals. E6000 Glue Pouches I will copy Rolf's process: Using Novus 2 and then earth colors and hairspray - no white painting... I hope it will work out fine. I will try to post some pictures of my process... So today's purchase: - Canvas Shoulder straps - 3 cans of hair spray - 4 tubes of E6000 - Woodland Earth Color Kit I have decided to convert my TE2 bucket to TD - currently TK... Bought Rolf's and he did a great paint job... Just need to remove the black stripes from the tears and the bag... So still missing: Backpack Lewis pouches ROM/FX Some steps closer to the TD.. So today's actions - got: - A Dremel - Good Stanley knife - Lots of sandpaper - Clamps for glueing Also got different stuf for the webbing.. So all set and prepared for when the armor arrives..
