troopermaster
Thanks TD2878! PM me your details,I'm sure I can knock up a pair for you I'm sure we'll never really know for sure what they actually were, but the pattern seems way too uniform to be anything less than a made part. Now whether the pattern was drawn on or not,who know's?Was it a vacuum formed part...again who know's?But at the end of the day,it's something a little bit different from what the regular sandtrooper wears, and it was worn in ANH. abntroop
yep, cool project to see going on. over the years with as many of these differences being tacked up to last minute fixes or folks not paying attention I wouldnt be surprised if the hand plates were a goof. TD1043
I've been thinking about buying this hand plate for a while now, but seriously how accurate is it? From the pictures I've seen here it's almost too hard to tell what it really look like. Plus, it seems that there might be a couple different versions of this type of hand plate. Would this one look okay?
troopermaster
Can't say that I have seen one like the one in the link.So far I've noticed three different hand plates in ANH,the slotted one like I've made, the regular 'T' backs and a slightly different 'T' back. I don't if that one is a custom piece or not,but it really looks like a cut down foot pedal cover accessory that put in your car to me
