Hi sorry I know it's completely off the sandtrooper topic but I'm desperate for one to complete my 327th clone armour(slightyly dirty ) all I'm looking for is the under suit

I know most of you will know this but it different to storm/sandtroopers as if has a quilted/ ribbed effect

I found this one but it's way over priced

http://www.shadowdalecreations.com/imperial.htm

And this from star fotress but I know these can be unreliable

can anyone help or point me in the right direction

Good luck. Everyone, including myself, over at CT.net have been searching for the last three years for the perfect body suit. The shirts seem easy to find, but the matching pants are the real problem.

I don't know anyone who's bought the ones you cited, but I plan to most likely fabricate mine by hand.

On CTN, Shalamar's wife does some at a reasonable cost for reasonable accuracy. She made one for me & one for WhiteCommando. They're comfy and look good.

Not 100% accurate, but so far no one's been able to do that.

i'm gonna find a ribbed top that matches as close as possible to the CGI and modify an existing Unitard by sewing on ribbed material where it will be exposed i.e. knees, elbows and crotch region. Actually i'll probably just modify around the crotch and knee area and wear a ribbed top half.

blame lucas for reusing props and peices of costumes, but i think it makes sense, seeing as how got suited during the clone wars era, so it would be very likely that (in universe) a clonetroopers undersuit was used for vader's iorn lung suit, since they served the same basic function; to isolate the wearer from the general influence of external enviroments, which were often uncontrollable as well as inhospitable.
