TD-4510
Can someone post pics of the correct way to trim all the parts of the AP? And how they did the assembly? I am starting to trim my set down and notice that it doesnt fit together very well, especially the forearms! Thanks in advance for any help
Muad'dib
The ends of the forearm joints will need to be cut off square to each other because they stick out too far. This probably happened during the supposed modifications to the molds by GF,AP or whoever. So what I'm trying to say is that the pointed ends will need to be cut off square to each other. troopermaster
You can't go far wrong with clutch's excellent building thread archived on the RPF- http://www.therpf.com/index.php?showtopic=92789

steve12201
I'm trying to find a good building thread regarding trimming AP armor. I don't want to take too much off. I was unable to find clutch's building thread on the other web site listed above. I'm primarily trying to find out if the curve is left on the edges of the pieces or if the edges are sanded flat. I know that probably doesn't make any sense as it is hard to explain. I'm speaking specifically about the arm and leg pieces, but I am also curious about the large torso parts and hand pieces too. steve12201
Thanks Rocko! Looks like the photo links are dead, but the text is fantastic. I might have to PM Clutch for some scans. After looking at a pic or two, I think I already trimmed too much off of the wrist side of the hand pieces.
