TD8828
I just recently built an E-web for my Snowtrooper costume to take to events for photo ops with the kids. Did the Sandtroopers use a BFG similar to this? I want to built a Sandtrooper version of the E-web Here's my E-web Any suggestions?
SethB6025
You could make something up, but I don't think there is anything EU (definately nothing in the film) like that. I had thought about it a couple years ago, I had envisioned a bulked up version of the US WW2 .50 machine gun (or was it .30?, I'm not a gun nut) with two barrels, like a turbo-laser. I'd just roll with the E-web though, it looks cool!
TD8828
Yeh, I didn't think there was, but I suppose one could make something like you described just for effect! Hmmm....ideas... Thanks Seth!
SethB6025
Now if they'd only have had an E-web at the mos eisley roadblock.
TD5422
Then they would have been blasted like everyone else who tries to set up a crew weapon
freakengine
Don't the casters make recoil a problem? That's a good looking prop. Was it scratch-built?
TD8828
The casters are coming off! Yep, scratch built except for the tripod base which I added part to.

russkiy49
That's really nice! I think it would suit a Sandtrooper just fine.
crashmann
David Syczlo built a PVC E-Web blaster and has a tutorial on his web site: http://www.djsyczylo.net/replicas/StarW ... cannon.htm Nice work considering it's made from PVC and styrene!
