First weathering go at "move along" lid

I figured it needed some dirt to truly emulate the "move along" helmet

I used dollar store acrylic paints and a few hours and for a first try I'm fairly happy with the result 

 





I have a set of armour (I spell that way because I'm from Canadaland) in the mail and I'm torn on weather or not to make a TK or TD. After seeing some of the builds on here I'm leaning TD

I'm not much of a photographer but I thought these turned out ok if a bit blurry and overexposed XD







It's especially apparent this is a recast helmet on the ears. Very soft detail

I like what you did with that helmet. Nice work on the alignment.  Very subtle and natural. 

Your version looks more like the cleaned up helmet that we know from starwarshelmets.com. 

I think during filming the helmet was more heavily weathered.

It's a lot more dirty in person  I can't seem to be able to get it on camera
