Airborne Trooper
Good to see another German application for PO, I know the German Garrison will square you away and help you along your journey. I had to turn my head sideways to view most of your photos but overall, not too bad! One thing that did seem to stick out to me was the bottom of your thighs. They look too large, almost like a bell. Are you able to taper them in some? This will greatly increase mobility when they are sized to your knee/thigh correctly.
DerGummo
Thank you. I don’t know why the pics are like this. Befor Uploading they were right. I have little massive thights. It’s not possible to make them smaller at the bottom. Either the Coverstrips get skew. It was a big problem during the build and I put some Shims at the back so my legs fit in. Airborne Trooper
As long as they fit you, it should be ok then. Good thing for you is there are some great builders in the German Garrison who should be able to put some eyes on your armor to help where needed.
DerGummo
Yes we have some awesome builders. Do you think there is something wrong with my build...?Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
Airborne Trooper
On first glance everything seems to be in order, but I am not the deployment officer! The only thing that really stood out is the bottom of the thighs.
DerGummo
Okay. Thanks man. But this is not a problem of the build it’s a problem of my body :-)Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
DerGummo
If you follow the link to my building WIP you see at one of the last pages how big the shin is I insert at the back of the thights. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
Markus ' tiny ' Zeitvogel
-The Coverstripes on the backside of the thighs are skew. It would be look better on the other side of the triangle Shims, so they would be more vertical. - the left biceps looks to big to me. The weathering is a matter of taste, so the following is only my personaly view. to me it looks a bit to scrawled. The shoes are nice weathered but together with the Handguards and the large spot on the chest it looks like these 5 parts are from a other armour. To the thighs, I know him personaly and I know his thighs are real big down to the knees, so it's not able to get the shape of the thigh armourparts realy better. Good Luck Gummo, fingers crossed. DerGummo
For the weathering I watched pics from the roadblock captain (move along). Maybe I would go on swat (in years...) and so I tried to do some things already now so I don’t have to do everything later again. He has this big spot on the chest and the rest is only lightly weathered. You got right with the shoes. They are maybe a little too much compared to the rest. Hausi
Hey Uli, welcome and thank you for your interest in becoming an MEPD deployed officer! Now it´s time to start your review, so let´s go: Application Review: Part 1 Name: Uli Geier Legion ID: TD-11829 Forum Name: DerGummo Garrison: German Garrison-Arma Candida Helmet a. Green lenses: see comments b. Paint color of traps / tears: check c. Correct number of teeth: check d. Mic tips: check e. Vocoder color: check f. Tube stripes: check g. Rank bar on ears: check h. Brow: check i. Side screws (ears): check j. Weathering: check *additional comments* Please add a pic showing the green lenses. I am sure you have them but I have to see a picture nevertheless. Nice Helmet, looks a little like our infamous “Move-Along” buddy… who let those droids get away! Here´s a reference pic: Biceps: from my perspective your right biceps is too large and looks unproportional, please decrease it in its diameter. Pauldron: the sticker residue (the black circle) on your pauldron looks a little unnatural, it shouldn´t be as solid, please tone it down a little and make it appear more blurred. Here´s another picture, not the Roadblock/Move-Along Captain but the Dockingbay Captain but the pauldron is possibly the same: Thighs: I agree with what the other dirty dudes have said and after having had a long discussion with my fellow deployment officer I have to say that the coverstrips are really off on the backside of your thighs. Please attach them so they are straight. As far as your weathering is concerned, it´s okay for PO but for SWAT it would be way too solid. RESULT ON ARMOR pending Backpack a. details: see comments b. weathering: check *additional comments* The exhaustport is too long (the actual exhaust part at the top), please shorten it. I would also suggest painting the back of your radio black. It´s not really visible but it would definitely look nicer. Those minor details aside, really nice work on that pack and hats off for building your own pack mate. RESULT ON BACKPACK pending Weapon a. details: check b. weathering: check *additional comments* I have to be completely honest with you: I don´t like the blaster. Don´t get me wrong, you have done a very nice job making it as accurate as possible but it´s just not right. I would strongly recommend getting another blaster, Doopykit, rubber foam, whatever you like, but make it a Bapty. However, this being said, according to the CRL, your blaster is good to go. RESULT ON WEAPON Checked & Cleared Uli, this was your first review! Keep up the good work, those changes shouldn´t be too difficult for you, you have already done a tremendous job building your own pack to such high standards. I´m looking forward to seeing some new pics of your improved gear soon. Cheers mate Hausi - MEPD Deployment Officer
DerGummo
Thanks for the very fast review. I will change the points in the next days. The missing pic of the green lenses get lost while uploading. Of course I have. I also don’t like the blaster. My bapty is on the way from imperial warfighters. I forgot to write this down. DerGummo
And it goes an. Sniperplate is lifted up and Radio is black on the backside. Coverstrips on the back of the shines are now more straight. Left bizeps is now smaller. Tomorrow I short the exhaust port and weather all the changed parts. I hope I can take photos the next days and can get my second review. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
DerGummo
Exhaust post is shortened. Now it got the 22,5cm like Strider got it at his backpack measure thread. I think I gonna get it a little prettier the next month but I don’t got all the materials I need for. Pics from the bizeps and thights follow later when my wife got time to take photos. DerGummo
My wife had no time so I needed to do it by my one. That’s why I don’t wear the canvas and the right arm so I was a little more flexible. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk

Just one piece of advice, try to twist the thighs outward a bit so they don´t get to close to the codpiece. I think this would improve the overall look and additionally give you a wider range of motion. Looking forward to seeing some pics of your new Bapty! RESULT ON WEAPON Checked & Cleared Uli, this was your second review, I really appreciate your enthusiasm and your attitude to get things done... and it was worth it, I think your gear looks even better now than it already did before, congrats mate, well-deserved! You have successfully followed the guidelines in regards to the MEPD CRL and have met the requirements, be proud of yourself. Please send the pic you want to use to Luis (Sandman Tigui) and we'll get you squared away. We will have your updated information uploaded into the MEPD system very soon. Congratulations on becoming a Deployed Officer of the MEPD! As a side note, if I am correctly informed, Uli is already a deployed police officer in the real world. And now joins the ranks of those proud few who keep control of the most wretched hive of scum and villainy the galaxy has ever seen. Now please report to the Mos Eisley Mess hall where you'll serve the troopers until the next newbie gets cleared. Cheers mate! DerGummo
Thanks Hausi. I’m so happy and proud. Can’t stop smiling at the moment. And yes. In the real world I’m since 15 years a PO. And thank you all for your help and ideas on my way to become a member of the 501st and now a PO at the MEPD.
