tk-4224
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1 omg that´s more expensive than my trooper armor
Daetrin
At that price I'd think you could have someone custom make you one.
RoCKo
right, but this is an original WW2 magazine pouch so there are a lot af reenactors who spend this amount of money with just a smile because this pouch IS very hard to find! i placed my bid on this pouch right from the start, but this is far to much money to spend on a shoulder pouch and so i will keep my selfmade pouch on my shoulder... there are lots of other sandtrooper related things to buy... maybe a dewback finally...? who knows... TD9009
This pouch is really expensive and isn't in mint condition. Also... the seller is selling a single pouch, and not the pair.
tk432
I remeber years ago when these things where every where on ebay. Looks like the 501st has really cleaned house, i dont think there are many reall ones left.
RoCKo
and there is one main problem... i think there must be some more left here in germany as these are german magazine pouches, but because they were used by nazis in WW2 they are forbidden on ebay.de!!! only replika pouches can be placed on ebay, at least for selling to germany ebay-users. RoCKo
yep, and it seems to be not as hungry than other animals of that size because there seems to be not a lot of food in a sand desert...
Vaj
I wanted to bid on it also but my limit was 150€. As i saw others wanted to pay more, hours for end of the auction I asked me... WHAT????? 350€??? Something is wrong in this world
Daetrin
Probably wasn't a sandtrooper who one. Perhaps some nutty WWII re-enactor dude who wants everything perfect, or perhaps a child who lost a parent or grandparent in WWII who wants something a memento? If someone were to have some made, would there be any interest in non-authentic but nicely authentic-looking ones?
SethB6025
I'd be totally down for a good replica. In the case of a replica though, I'd want it in a faux leather as opposed to real leather.
TD2802
I remember back in the 70s when authentic items like these were going for about $12 tops. The rise in demand by the growing number of collectors has sure jacked prices out of the average bloke's reach.
