Bulldog44
Where all the syphons on the backpacks the same size or where some longer in length than others?
DirtyBoy
Same size based on what's been found to date
Bulldog44
Sorry, the reason I ask is because I have come across information regarding similar syphons but the length is different by an inch. Doesn't sound like much but when side by side you tell the size difference.

Bulldog44
Just have photos. Wasn't sure which size is correct. The smaller one looks more in proportion to the radio in some screenshots. Any thoughts?
Strider
I was about to say that the larger one looks more in proportion ;-) Also with the smaller one there are markings where it may have been cut an reassembled. Hard to say without any more info on its origin... Cheers
Bulldog44
From what I could gather, the smaller one is roughly 26 cm in length not counting the threaded extension. The larger 29 cm. The smaller one is the same size as Gordon's. syphon. Also the radio is said to be 240 mm. That is about the same as the smaller syphon' s length from the very top seam to the base above the threads. Strider
If I'm not mistaken Scott (Ghost) has an original Syphon maybe he could provide some measurements.
iconoclasta_88
This is the syphon infound on a toilet on the streets of London... Its not as vintage as the originals, but should be a close match. Saludos.

Fraulein
Bump - can someone measure the size of the diameter across on the bottom round part? I may have found a supplier of repro siphons.
