wouldtick
New to all of this. Up until a few days ago I never new that you could buy kits to make TK armor. I always thought you had to learn to vacuum mold and sculpt your own pieces. I stumbled upon a review of the new Anovos armor while looking at this years Celebration videos on you tube. Found the TK armor on their website. After watching more videos of people demonstrating how to assemble their own various kits, i took the plunge. I preordered a full kit with preassembled helmet and another helmet kit that i will be able to assemble myself. I didnt get in on the $350 deal but $450 is still an amazing deal to me if the quality is halfway decent. I am glad I found this group! FIVE
Yes, $450 is a deal nonetheless! Welcome, and good luck! We're here if you need us!!! Out of curiosity, are you gonna do a sandtrooper?I'm guessing yes, but just wondering for sure.
wouldtick
That is the goal as of now. We will see how well the build goes!

CB3391
I am also ordering the Anovos Armor and converting to a TD. I just hope we get the armor in enough time to build it before the EP. VII release.
wouldtick
This is my first build so i may be a bit in over my head. Without the videos and articles on the web i would have never considered it.
THE TROOPER
Welcome wouldtick, what trooper are you going to emulate ? Theres enough info on this forum for a lifetime, but heres one to really light up the choo choos on your nightgown ......enjoy......click here>>>> http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/
Jodo
I also ended up pre-ordering a set as well, and believe I'm going to be doing a TD as well. I've had an MG-34 for a few years now, and had been looking at getting pouches and a pauldron for years, so I figured I might as well jump on it! Fumanchewie
Welcome everyone. While you are waiting for your armor you can work on a backpack and or blaster.
DirtyBoy
Welcome everyone. While you are waiting for your armor you can work on a backpack and or blaster. Yup....get that pack going
wouldtick
Are the resin blaster kits any good?
bdgr
Welcome everyone. While you are waiting for your armor you can work on a backpack and or blaster. Also think about your TK/TD boots early. I can easily see a shortage of popular sizes as ANOVOS starts shipping the kits.
BadBatch
Also think about your TK/TD boots early. I can easily see a shortage of popular sizes as ANOVOS starts shipping the kits. Indeed! BTW: For troopers looking to go the 'Black Boots Painted White' route, Amazon has a really good sale right now on the Bass Amsterdam boots. wouldtick
I might go that route with the boots. I know hat basd shoes are comfy so why not get comfy combat boots too
Jodo
Also think about your TK/TD boots early. I can easily see a shortage of popular sizes as ANOVOS starts shipping the kits. I figured boots and to some degree pauldrons and pouches would probably dry up pretty quick come Winter....I've been keeping an eye out for all those things! Thankfully I'm good to go with my MG-34, so I don't need to work on my blaster!
Doug Hoyle
I'm not sure if anyone is following the Anovos thread on the RPF, on page 19 Got Maul, an Anovos Rep of some sort, posted that Anovos is going to offer a Sand Trooper armor kit with reduced pricing. http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=212164&page=19 Doug

Faolain
I'm curious about their sandy offering. I'm on the waiting list for ATA right now, but this seems like a pretty good deal too.
