Acrylic and Fullers

I purchased a TD for me to join the 501st, and in the course of my research and my modifying it to fit I have been thinking about the weathering on it. It has been weathered with Fullers and has a dry dusty look. I wanted to add an oily coat over the top it especially in the nooks and crannies using Pandatroopers method. I was wondering it any one has successfully used both mediums. Or what issues might I run into.

Email sir David here. He used the single pigment method that a lot of us troopers starts to do....looks amazing. I personally use a baseball rubbing mud....it's organic and looks very natural...sticks to armor but allows for easy change as you get to swat level.
