Batphobic
Hello friends, I'm still slowly working on my TD. But got some momentum on the T21 so I finished that up first. A million thanks to those who posted their process and progress because I couldn't have done it without you. I used Terry's cutting template and Anthony's electronics and lots of ideas and tips from others on the boards. Here's the finished product: And here is the detailed build process in 4 parts: Part 1: http://blog.panzainteractive.com/?p=56 Part 2: http://blog.panzainteractive.com/?p=74 Part 3: http://blog.panzainteractive.com/?p=114 Part 4: http://blog.panzainteractive.com/?p=136 Hopefully this documentation can be of help to anyone coming after me! Batphobic
Thanks Andrew! It was definitely a fun build. I asked my wife if I could carry it on our evening walk tonight. She said no :-)

Batphobic
Nice work, always fun to see a scratch build like that. Good job! Thanks Seann! Assuming that's you in your signature it looks like you've got a nice T21 yourself. And yeah, these scratch gun builds are fun projects. Much more forgiving than the plastic for a TD! TrainWreck
Looks like I just found out what I'm doing after my Doopy is done. Great job and thanks for putting that build out there! It gives people like me hope that a scratch build is within our reach. I might have to pick your brain when I get to it.

TrainWreck
I in fact just confirmed from a friend who works at kinkos that she can get me two copies of the template on single big sheets of paper. It will be a few weeks before I get started but I'll post a build thread here on MEPD (I'll probably double post it in fact on FISD to get as much feed back as possible). I've built structures out of wood but have never tried to shape them before. I don't know if this has been posted here before but I found a website last night that has several different PDF downloads of Lewis user manuals for anyone who wants an original refrance source: http://www.forgottenweapons.com/light-machine-guns/lewis-light-machine-gun/ Thanks again!
