sandtrooper Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Is something like that importable to the US? Quote
ghoulcinder@hotmail.co.uk Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Isn't it located in the US? I'm sure there's no way you'll get it into the UK however Quote
sandtrooper Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 The contact link listed a Hong Kong address. Quote

Jodo Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Evike has the S&T Sterling for $255 with a free three day shipping coupon available (code: free3day). http://www.evike.com/products/50076/ I purchased one a few days ago, and it's waiting at my house for me to pick up. I'm away at school now, but I cannot wait to see it in person. Quote

Jodo Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Sure thing! I'm thinking about running home here Wednesday or Thursday to see my family, so I should have it then! Quote
Jodo Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I haven't been able to make it home, though it's looking good for tomorrow. I did want to mention Evike is now selling extra magazines for $14.40. You would need to cut the magazine down for it to be accurate, so I went ahead and got a second mag! I was already purchasing a shotgun for a short film I'm involved with, so I just tagged it on to the order. Quote
Jodo Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I picked this up yesterday, and I gotta say, it's one cool airsoft! The rifle did come with a orange plastic ring glued on, but it came of with ease after a stint in some boiling water. Likewise the inner-barrel was painted black, but the paint came off easily to reveal the brass barrel, which I prefer. One odd thing, is that the first wave of these had the front painted orange, and the inner-barrel wasn't painted. I think my only complaint is that it came with a few preexisting scrapes to the bolt, which I would have preferred to have been clean, but oh well. As mentioned above, you'll also want to trim down the magazine, or purchase a spare to do so. It is also quite heavy, which I prefer for a prop replica, though I couldn't imagine trooping with it. And a comparison shot to one of the unmodified Hasbro blasters: Quote
ghoulcinder@hotmail.co.uk Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Looks good, I like it Quote
