hairball2
Hello, anyone got any experience from the backpack from RS, wondering if they meet up to standards or they need heavy modification? I know there armor is very good but have not read anything about there backpacks. Thanks
DarthChridan
No, sry mate....I've also seen nothing about it. But ask them for a few pics...it would be interesting to see anything about it.

Elegance
Im pretty sure their backpacks are made by our own and very talented Dirty Boy or Quartermaster, unless that has changed recently.
hairball2
ill wait and see what they answer.
Elegance
You may want to speak to Dirty Boy or Quartermaster directly here too, it may save you a few imperial credits.

Quartermaster
I have made about 4 packs for RS over the past year including one for the AF Project. They have contacted me about more.

Guest Locitus
For us Europeans it might actually be cheaper to buy from RS than from Dirty boy or Quartermaster as there is less shipping and no import fees or VAT when buying from inside the EU. DirtyBoy
Depends on how it's shipped and labeled.I always ship as a gift with a value of $25.
hairball2
Depends on how it's shipped and labeled.I always ship as a gift with a value of $25. Backpack and shipping from dirty boy is better, RS backpacks will be more, but then again the RS backpack is 100% complete, ready to wear, but thats no fun ;-)
DirtyBoy
Agreed. It's like buying a completed set of armor...there's no ownership to it. Do the final 10 mins of assembly and call it your own.

Quartermaster
That's one of my earlier builds. Looks like a base pack that the RS guys added some of their own stuff to. Not my shells or mortar tube. The upper canister looks a bit off too. Def my tool box, Radio, stinger, lab pipe, syphon, frame and older exhaust port. hairball2
im having a hard time see the details on the radio, is it and older, not so detailed one. Or is it the same as this one from DirtyBoy:
Quartermaster
Mine is a little different, but detailed. It is a poured black resin faceplate.
DirtyBoy
Regardless of what direction you go you will get a great pack.
