Help before start Weathering

I guess it depends on how much you do. In the end I used just one bottle of raw umber, a little burnt umber, and one of yellow ocher. I bought a second raw umber later - as I needed more after doing two pauldrons & a pack, and adding some more weathering.

Then again, I'm more of a dirty than sandy trooper - for a more sandy look you might try a few other colors.

It took me about 2 hours or so to do it the first time. The second layer I did a few weeks later and it took less than an hour.

I guess what I'm trying to say is if you run out of color, just buy more. One bottle of a few colors should get you there at least.
