SCRIBBLER
Hi, Victor! Thank you for submitting your request for SWAT OFFICER Activation. You have chosen a very popular TD for the process. But as always, it is great to see the many different interpretations! During this process, there may be some mods that will need to be taken care of. Details that need to be even more fine tuned in comparison to past SWAT members. The bar is always being set higher. With that said, great job getting an early jump on taking care of the requested mods that were posted prior to thisfirst review post. As stated before, we always stress PATIENCE during this process as we pay more and more attention to fine tuning with each new SWAT applicant. The MEPD Senior Commanders and myself will give your armor / gear a full inspection and review. Some details may definitely be missed and re-checked, but we will try to catch them on every pass given until you are cleared and ready to join the Special Weapons & Tactics Team, Brother! Let's begin... MEPD SWAT OFFICER: APPLICATION REVIEW (PART 1) Name: Victor Gallego Legion ID #: TD-4937 Forum Name: boltstrooper Garrison: Southern California ** ANH SANDTROOPER SELECTED **: Roadblock Captain / "Move Along" I.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER: Awesome looking helmet build, Troop! Excellent weathering, as well! See if you can follow Smally's (Brad) request to replicate the 'sleepy eye' detail on the lenses. It will further enhance the accuracy of your selected TD. B.) EXECUTIVE OFFICER: (Comments Pending) C.) COMMANDING OFFICER: (Comments Pending) II.) Armor / Suit Details: a.) Straps -- CHECK b.) This may be all of the flags or more mod requests may be posted later.* So far, so good. We'll be looking over your gear a few more times to make sure we catch everything and notes will be posted soon after. You are definitely on the right track, Victor. Nice job! The pauldron details still needs some work. Check the screen cap references again and try to match the appearance (i.e. darker 'circle' and a little more weathering.) It could also be the lighting most likely. If you have any other pics, please post those. You aren't too far off at all. VERY impressive work on your gear! As for your shoulder pouch, I'd still like to see you adjust the placement to match the onscreen look... B.) EXECUTIVE OFFICER:(Comments Pending) C.) COMMANDING OFFICER: (Comments Pending) III.) BACKPACK: VERSION # 3 (Move Along) a.) Details -- (SEE COMMENTS) b..) Weathering -- CHECK A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER: Nice looking pack you have there. There are few mods that need to be taken care of though... You will need the black support base for the radar dish. (See pics) Also, double check the placement of the drilled hole detail and the Detonator plate against the screen caps. * This request will be a first, and it will go a long way...but, see if you can match the 'beat up' look of the black tape on the bottom seed tray. Not mandatory (yet) but you could be the first to attempt it. (Ah, details...) B.) EXECUTIVE OFFICER: (Comments Pending) C.) COMMANDING OFFICER: IV.) WEAPON: E-11 a.) Details -- (SEE COMMENTS) b..) Weathering -- CHECK ** Additional Comments -- A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER: Great looking weapon. Excellent details / parts. I don't believe there was the wire detail on the MOVE ALONG version. The MEPD Commanders may need you to remove that. Stand by... B.) EXECUTIVE OFFICER: (Comments Pending) C.) boltstrooper
Michael: Thank you for reviewing it. Here's photo of the black support base for the radar dish. I have another E-11, it is hyper-firm version (photo below). Does that qualify? I wanted to keep the wire version for the TK armor. I will work the rest of the mods this weekend. Thanks... SCRIBBLER
That E-11 will do just fine. The dish assembly should look Ike this though : (Sample Photo from Chris (DarthGrace) TD-5631's current SWAT application and ANH screen cap) Yours:
boltstrooper
Michael. Thanks for the quick reply. I will make the dish change this weekend. Thanks... Victor
SCRIBBLER
@ Victor - No problem! BTW, depending on the size of that dish you have, a simple CD painted black will serve as the perfect backing. Hope that helps!
Cantina Craig
Hi buddy. I know I'm not SWAT, but I added the painted black CD to my backpack for Police Officer Deployment and worked great. I had to cut out the middle of the CD by cutting lots of little slots with just a hacksaw blade and bending out the little sections with a pair of pliers. I recommend doing this first, as the CD is quite brittle and cracks easily. As I found out with the first one I lovingly sprayed 2 coats either side on before cracking it removing the middle section , doh!! I think i got through 2 or 3 CD's before getting the middle section out without damage, Ha ha :-) Good luck bro, great looking armour :-)

SCRIBBLER
The Justin Bieber CDS are the most durable. I HIGHLY recommend using those first.

opi wan
Hi, verry beautiful bulild you have there! Verry good eye for details. But I have one thing more for your Blaster update. You use the m19Scope, the Move Along one was a m38, ist a lttle longer then m19 and the tunesia Blasters (Bapty) had no D Ring. On your right leg you should cut your upper coverstripe a bit, that the small edge apears Greetings keep on with your good building! SCRIBBLER
@ Victor - Excellent work so far on your gear and on the requested mods! Outstanding job, for sure! You are very close to the end of the process, Brother! Let's continue... MEPD SWAT OFFICER: APPLICATION REVIEW (PART 2) Name: Victor Gallego Legion ID #: TD-4937 Forum Name: boltstrooper Garrison: Southern California ** ANH SANDTROOPER SELECTED **: Roadblock Captain / "Move Along" I.) Glad you added the 'sleepy eye' detail as recommended. I would still like to see the back of the helmet weathered just a little bit more. But, I think what you have is more than acceptable. Crotch Snaps -- CHECK ** Additional Comments -- A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER: Very impressive work on your rig! It really shows that you have paid attention to the details that help bring this character to life. Just as the previous submissions of this sane trooper, it's nice to see the different looks and takes on the MOVE ALONG. And just like their builds, yours is a sight to behold, as well! Nice job! *CHECKED & CLEARED* ** Suggestion: As Alexander (opi wan) noted, it would be a nice touch to continue to add more details to your armor going forward. This will not hurt your cause, it will only help enhance your existing appearance as new details are discovered on an ongoing basis! We all learn something new here every day! B.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER: Nice updated mods! I love the fact that you attempted the raggedy looking tape pattern. EXCELLENT! Also nice to see the new radar dish backing base. I also see that you have re-positioned the 'drilled hole' detail closer to the accurate spot on the mortar tube. Good job! *CHECKED & CLEARED* B.) EXECUTIVE OFFICER: (Comments Pending) C.)
