skirge66
Hey guys, so my ab plate left side currently does not have a button plate attached to it, I fabricated this plate out of scrap abs, and just wanted to get your input as to whether or not it will be passable once it is attached to the plate and dirtied up. Looks like the regulations state a minimum of 3 maximum of 4 and must be white...I was going off the pictures in the reference library to estimate the size. inglorious trooper
from the photo it looks fine mate,i cant really tell the size of it though! one thing i will say to make it really accurate is cut the corners on a 45 degree very slightly! i'll put you a pic of mine soon for ya! Smally
How did you make this Scott? What did you use?
skirge66
I just cut a 2mm ABS scrap to the right size rectangle to fit the space on the ab plate, trimmed the corners to 45s, sanded the edges smooth. used a penny to trace out the buttons on another piece of 2mm ABS, cut them out sanded the edges to roughly a 45 degree angle. glued the buttons to the plate with E6000. wasn't very difficult.
