Your helmet is all set for clearance. I just have one mod request here: Your mic tips look a bit too 'clean'. Need you to weather them up a bit.

It could be the lighting too, but hit it just one more time to have it stand out just a little more.

A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER:

Nice job, Brother! :td::thumbsup:

Just need to see pics of the following details:

- Corner snap (back of male side) on upper right of ab section

* I could see the left side rivets fine in this pic, but can barely make out if the right corner snap is present.

Posted Image

- Also need to see a closer shot of your ammo belt (waist) corners. They may need to be angled a bit more.

Posted Image

- Submit pic of crotch snaps

III.) BACKPACK: Version # 3

a.) Details -- CHECK

b..) Weathering -- (SEE COMMENTS)

A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER:

Excellent looking pack, Brother! All the details check out. You just need to weather a little more. Again, it could just be the lighting but the pack still looks 'new'.

Beat it up a little bit more and you'll be good to go! :td::thumbsup:

Fine looking weapon!

Just need to see a pic of the D-Ring detail on the rear. You should be fine after that. Thanks! :td::thumbsup:

There is no ring on the back of my blaster. I never added one as I understood that this was accurate for the sandtrooper blasters.

Other pics not included, as I thought those details were only needed for SWAT clearance, but no probs, pics to follow.

@ Simon - Just following the 'armor / gear' requirements per the MEPD CRL, My Friend. http://www.mepd.net/crl/

Also. the crotch snaps pic has been a requirement for the past couple of years now. (Per Command Staff)

You are just about there, though! VERY nice work! :td::thumbsup:

You were right, I'd never thought to weather the mic tips themselves. Now done:

Re. the blaster ring, if the CRL demands it, I'll reluctantly add it, but I'd gone by this article posted here:

http://forum.mepd.ne...?showtopic=5759

The bapty blasters used by the sandtroopers had no o-rings, but if I can't get cleared without it, like I said, I'll add one.

Checking belt details. Pic to follow.

Simon,

Great to see you finally made the journey buddy. Well done your gear looks great. I feel that it is a tiny but clean but that is all down to preference. Who knows you may decide to dirty it a bit more once you've trooped it a few times.

Lovely job you'll be cleared soon.

Also make sure you check us out at Britannia Patrol, the UKG Sandtrooper group. We'd be honoured to have you.

Nick

@ Simon - GREAT work, Brother! That was fast! Accurate, as well!

The 'missing' D-Ring might pass during SWAT Deployment, but the CRL requires it. Plus, that request has been in place even before many of us here were deployed. :turned:

I will check one more time with the MEPD Commanders to confirm if it is needed or not.

Other than that, You ready to be greenlit, Brother! :td:

Good spot on the belt. The corners were rounded off (I bought the kit pre-trimmed and never even noticed that). These are now cut at 45 degrees. Will post pics as soon as I can. The website that hosts my pics is undergoing maintainance and won't let me upload anything for now.

I'll add the o-ring ASAP and post the pics together.

Wow! Now THAT was fast, Simon!

Outstanding job, Brother! Your attention and commitment to detail is highly commendable!

Our main focus here in Command Staff is to get new recruits deployed not only quickly , but accurately! We never want to discourage anyone from joining our ranks. We just want our officers to look their best. And you for one have accomplished that! :td: :salute:

Also. thanks for taking care of the mod requests so quickly! Fantastic!

Now, here are your results:

** FINAL COMMENTS FROM DEPLOYMENT OFFICER**

Congratulations, Frank! You are now an officially DEPLOYED OFFICER in the Mos Eisley Police Department! :td:

You have done an outstanding job on your armor. You have successfully followed the guidelines in regards to the MEPD CRL and have met the requirements.

Now, you can march with the rest of the 'Dirty Bunch' down the halls of the Precinct.. Your locker has been assigned and you are now ready to be placed on the roster among most elite troopers in the Outer Rim Territories.

Here is your Profile link: http://www.mepd.net/deployed/td-6538/

All I ask of you now is to confirm the Call Sign that you want use.

Also, please send the pic you want to use to either Nick (nick.black), Luis (Sandman Tigui) or myself and we'll get you squared away. Good?

When we figure out how a bunch of intoxicated Jawas managed to pull off a conga line resulting in traffic being blocked, we will then have your badge, picture, updated profile link, and proper information uploaded into the MEPD system, so hold tight a little bit more, ok?

Congratulations on being the FIFTH Deployed Officer of 2013! Now please report to the Dewback Petting Zoo (for now) and await further orders, Boot! :td: :salute:

Aloha Simon....

nice build and really fast for your Police Officer application :salute: ....Congratulation, mate.

But one question...is your armour a mishmash of armour parts?!?!...chest and AB plate of a FX and the thighs of a TM armour?!?!

Correct me if I'm wrong...but the thigh parts are 99% TM stuff.....and the lower legs as well.

Otherwise you did a great job...especially on the weathering :duim:

Welcome to the ranks, trooper....well done :td:

Yes Daniel, you're exactly right. I'm 6'2" and the FX legs were nowhere near long enough for me, but I found out that as well as the standard length, TM also makes longer leg armour for the taller trooper. Not cheap, but well worth the extra cost.
