SNOWMAN
Over at my moms house today, helping her clean out an old storage area under her sink. As it turns out, my mom used to sell tupperware at tupperware parties when I was a kid in the 70's. I found 3 smaller ones and 1 large one down in the far back, hidden for nearly 30 years, vintage circa 1979! My SWAT upgrade I'll be working on just went a notch. I read somewhere on here that they used the smaller ribbed bottom attached to the larger lid's flat piece. Gotta find that thread. Anyhow thought I would share! nick.black
Mate I got a lid off some filling putty that was black and snipped the edge off. It was perfect. I think it was from the stuff you get at halfords for car bodywork. Nick

DirtyBoy
Hey man....you can actually paint a cd/DVD black and use under the lid. It's the right size.

SNOWMAN
Haven't found the thread yet but found an image showing what I was referring to, where the ribbed dish fits on top of a slightly larger piece. Is this for a particular TD build? Or was it like this for all troopers?
SNOWMAN
Hey man....you can actually paint a cd/DVD black and use under the lid. It's the right size. Hey Rick, So, I put a DVD into one of the smaller vintage lids I found at my moms and the lid is slightly larger than the DVD. Thoughts? SCRIBBLER
Here's what you're looking at, SNOWMAN.( I believe the only one that uses this size right off the top of my head is the MOVE ALONG Capt and both the Cantina Captain / Falcon Takeoff (Alleyway) Captain, to name a few... Rick can you confirm this? These parts are from my (soon to be) 4th Pack build.
pashnak
Ah that's the size I have: http://forum.mepd.ne...topic=11204&hl= is the fluted top left unpainted ?
DirtyBoy
Yes it's used for the smaller lid. The top is left unpainted
