  1. Nice weathering! good looking pack
  2. I just got 4 of these pouches for a buck each. I ordered a couple other items along with them to offset the postage. The pouches were clean and in great shape. be sure and use the link from the first post to find them listed for a $1, the same lady has them listed for a variety of prices. Steven
  3. I have a HF Lewis gun I got when scifire first offered them because it's one of the real world guns that you are just not likely to find a deac or parts kit for and I wanted one in my collection. I have a real (deac) MG15, MG34, Sterling and missed out recently on one of the mg42/53 parts sets (still looking). When I ordered my HF Lewis I too was hoping they would do the finish/woodgrain on it and was willing to pay the little extra that was quoted but in the end after some shipping issues I got it without the finish. to cut this rambling comment short I'll just say that while yes shipping delays do tend to be the norm when ordering, the product is accurate to an original gun, unique, and you'll be happy with it when you get it. my .02 Steven
  4. Hey, I don't know anything about that other website link, I just googled it for the pic. Here is a site with info on those types of slings: http://www.rollanet.org/~stacyw/british ... w_page.htm Here are a few slings offered at e-gunparts, a US company: http://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd.asp ... SKU=&MC=YJ http://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd.asp ... SKU=&MC=YJ http://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd.asp ... SKU=&MC=YJ For those in the UK or canada you should be able to find these at surplus outlets? Good luck, Steven
  5. Hey the Blastech logo would be cool. I always like when props are dressed out as if they were manufactured in the movie universe. post a pic when your done. Steven
  6. They are indeed British weapon slings. The style was used for many differnt British military guns. They are canvas and come is shades of tan and green. The hardware is the same on both ends. It is an open metal loop that hooks around either side of the strap. When the strap is wedged into the open metal loop it is very snug. From screen caps you can see they strung two straps together for the Lewis. Steven I forgot to add that the strap width is about 1.25 inches Another EDIT: http://www.germanmilitaria.com/OtherNat ... 5thumb.jpg
  7. I'm glad to see this project is staying alive. Can't wait to see a sample. I could be in for one of each color. Depending on when the final call for funds is. Steven
  8. http://www.vintageiron.com/chestprotector.cfm Chest Protectors $69.95 each We offer is the same GP chest protectors that Torsten Hallman used to sell back in the 70’s, made by the same folks in Sweden. Roger D to Hannah all had one of these roost protectors and now you can too. Special Note: After yours arrive, please don’t call and ask if we shrunk the chest protectors. They are the original size, your gut however is not. Special Note #2: If you are a Star Wars nut and want to buy a chest protector for your Storm Trooper outfit we won’t make them in a special color unless you order 100! Regarding Special Note #2... What in the world is a Star Wars nut??? I have seen that site before. Who's the nut? The guy that want's a chest protector in a custom color or the guy that would rather sling insults than pursue an untapped line of income for his business? Steven
