  1. Yes nice, I am expecting a pair like those as well. I hope mine are on he way too... Juan ,Iconoclasta, has a really cool way to hook them on to the belt.
  2. Hey troops, just realized I never introduced myself and checked in with all of you fine troopers. My name is Jason and I live in the barren wasteland known as Kill Devil Hills. Large moving sand dunes and nothing but sand for miles, make my TD feel right at home. I have been a Star Wars fan since the original movie in 1977. I have collected memorabilia almost my entire life. Now that I'm older, I have seriously upped the anti , with life sized troopers. I am fairly new to the whole costuming trooping thing but look forward to doing good things in the 501st Legion. I have purchased a complete RS TD and I must say it is pretty cool having been casted from original armor. I am in the final phases of completion and am sitting on pins and needles trying to finish up. It has been a wild ride but fun and exciting. I have built a set of armor that I acquired through a local garrison, but it was a Shock Trooper, Clone style. It really turned out well. I will eventually build a TD or TK on my own. I also purchased a ESB TK from Troopermaster and it is spot on. Both have provided top notch kits. I am also currently building a Tusken Raider. I have been trying to read threads and research, but I have found you can never research too much. Learning as much about the individual troopers and components is very important. I am more than halfway through most of my TD and am still learning the particulars. Listen to the veterans when they say research... I did fall into the Jedi Robe trap looking for fully assembled armor. I am finally over the initial shock of being let down and am rectifying the situation by completely rebuilding the JR to 501 standards and will make it into a Death Trooper.... Hind sight is always 20/20, so even though I love my RS and TM builds, I would probably construct myself . Like I mentioned before, I will most likely construct a TK or TD myself after my current projects are finished. So thank you for allowing me to absorb all this great stuff and even though I forgot my initial introduction, I hope to get to know all of you and look forward to joining the MEPD. I do have my eye set on swat status.... Thank you all who make this happen, may the force be with you, and I hope we all find the droids we are looking for. 20421
  3. Troopermaster, he has proven to me to be excellent with customer service, satisfaction and quality. A complete helmet fully constructed may be a bit more than $200, but you will be happy with it when you hold it in your hands.... trust me...
  4. Funny, but the next question would be , who forgot the crackers, and who licked the knife....
  5. The shots I have are ones i took from my Blu Ray, sorry for the glare of the window shades. These pictures focus mainly on the White Pauldron Trooper Sergeant in the cantina. Trying to show his white ear bumps and slight weathering references. Showing slight weathering patterns, as well as missing cap on mortar tube.
  6. Looks like you missed the cantina, very few references for that scene , but I have a bunch on my TD thread.
  7. Awesome, just get in the zone, go slow ask lots of questions... You got this...
  8. http://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=16623 CT20421 requesting 501 access Thank you
  9. Man,... Daniel, you are on it. Thank You for the help.
  10. I am actually going for the "Cantina Security" WPT, which I believe is Davin. Now the CRL says filter pack, and one small pouch on side, regular three pouch with tool bag on shoulder.
  11. Thanks Felix , I may go with Davin... I have seen the CRL link, but was still unsure of proper pack assembly. The pouches I am fairly certain they are the large leather. Anyone else have any input? Thanks again Felix...
  12. What's up Sandies? I am hoping to immolate Davin Felth and go for SWAT. Looking through screen shots and such trying to find exactly which pouches and back pack Davin used. It appears they switched gear frequently in the movie, so I am not sure which pack he used, the filter pack, or the move along pack. Also the side pouches , I believe were the three pouch large MP40 pouches. The shoulder would be three pouch MP40 with smaller tool bag pouch. Is this correct? Also, is canvas ok, or do we need leather pouches all the way, for SWAT? Thank you guys in advance .... Stay dirty my friends...
  13. I imagine I need to be approved is why I don't have access to that section.
  14. Yes good idea filling the pouches. Really good idea starting from scratch on the weathering. Looks good Matt !
  15. Oh yeah, and nice TK boots... Good find, those have been hard to come by... I guess they just started going again.
  16. Yes sir, looking good. The shower before entering goes for the armor too.... Just kidding, you are correct, we are dirty.... Looking tight in the new bucket, it's gonna be hard to weather that thing at first , but you'll be glad you did when its done. I may suggest that when you start to do the weathering, that you carry it from the new material, onto the rest of the armor as well. This will help it blend in better. Good job too adding the shims and spacers. Not 100% sure, but I don't think the return edges are a must on the shims... Ok, ok. Now I will lay off on the pictures... Lol, just kidding... MORE PICS... Lolz
