  1. I'm happy enough, I've have done model vehicles, Airsoft etc & I like to think I have a good technique when it comes to weathering... It's also good to have someone outside out the box with feedback.... That's what I love being a member of this club...
  2. Photo shoot I just did today to send in for a commercial event hopefully audition for Walt Disney / LFL to take part in a troop in the Disney store in Dublin...
  3. I have sanded them down to make the lighter suggested by Captain Jack
  4. Update on sandtrooper weathering
  5. Spotted this picture from the movie...
  6. Hi fellow Troopers. Anthony, TD-66780 Ireland Outpost here. Looking for advice on the weathering I did with my sandie!!!! I wanted to use burnt umber, black & yellow orche to get a sandy, oily & dirty look.. Last two pics are at the St. Patricks day parade yesterday
  7. There is some great advice on the forum for sandtrooper weathering
  8. Hi Anthony here from Dublin Ireland. TD-66780 Ireland outpost. I've been a member of the Ireland outpost a few months now, my first official outing was a charity event for Cancer Awareness. To costume as a sandtrooper was really fun even though I was terrified of the characters from the SW movies. It's a great feeling to be in character at different events & a little awkward when children get scared you have to leave lol but some are ok in the end. To be part of the 501st legion knowing it is worldwide is just amazing to stand shoulder to shoulder among some great people at home in Ireland... Meeting new people on Facebook and great help from members on the forum at a click of the button. The opportunity to travel & meet people face to face. Lastly I'm looking forward to joining the ranks of the MEPD...
