I was wondering how people determined you need a neck seal. Just figured I had not looked at scenes closely enough.

Yes that does help. I've placed a few bid s on used black or brown Chelsea boots as the white boots that are available im not sure of the quality. It is funny, because I once read that the UK has higher quality shoe makers, and my search for boots seems to be confirming that. As a matter of fact,I read that some German spies would bring back English footwear for themselves and others during WWII. Fascinating.

If you don't mind me asking, what technique did you use to make them white? I found some nice Cole Haans and Ralph Lauren makes, but they are so nice that i'm hesitant to turn them white. Plus I need to head to a store and ensure they aren't too narrow.

Great find. Wow, once I began searching in earnest for Chelsea boots, I found many more options. Forget the label jodhpur. Those barely exist in the states. Believe it or not, I have a pair of Spock boots on my shelf that are really johphur boots, but I never dreamed I'd need stormtrooper boots and they are too boxy on the end.

I am on a wait list to get some kids armor, but my son wants to build his like mine. Any thoughts on child sized parts? Just a pauldron I imagine would be fine, but smaller pouches would be icing. And boots? Thanks ahead of time and sorry if this has been answered.

T shirts are a must. I have a bazillion koozies that don't get used. Yes, a bazillion.

My wife is already planning the trip. She loves CA. I'm going to twist her arm to get a costume, but the female costumes are very elaborate and SoCal is too cold for many of the costumes. Additionally, my wife is too tall for many of the Star Wars females. I suppose she could be a really tall Padme. Zam and the princess too short.

**** I'd rather have Harryhausen effects than CGI. Give me Sinbad! (hyperbole)
