  4. I have the perfect halloween costume. It is an original screen used Headless Horseman costume worn by Ray Park in sleepy hollow. You cant get anymore Halloween than that.
  5. Thanks Joe, this will be an adventure thats for sure. I was just going over some of the planning and logistics for this the other day and found myself wondering if this can actually be done in armor. Every now and then i find myself shaking my head and saying what am i doing. Also, just wondering: Is there an official MEPD flag similar to the COG flag of the legion ? If there is please let me know, i would really like to utilise it some pics so i could claim the outback of Australia for the MEPD. Lol. Maybe i will just stay there and set up an MEPD outpost of my own.
  6. Thanks mate, there will be alot of pics. the outback of Australia will definately resemble the remoteness of Tattooine thats for sure. I will definately capitalise on that. MEPD all the way.
  7. Here's the FAQ about the trip guys. http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Da2IoXDVG8OY%26feature%3Dyoutu.be&h=9AQEEZHjh&s=1
  8. For his first troop he was awesome and he looked great in his TD. I am looking forward to many more troops with you Andy and i am sure that it wont be long until he is a deployed MEPD officer.

  11. Thanks boss, I will do the MEPD proud.
  12. Fellow 501st members and my MEPD brothers of the sand, On the 2nd of November 2013, it is my intent to walk 15000 Km’s solo around Australia for charity covering every State and Territory wearing Star Wars Sandtrooper armour in order to raise money and awareness for the Monash Children’s Hospital and help raise the profile of the 501st Legion. I will be departing from the Monash Children’s hospital, Melbourne where I will make my way to Station pier-Port Melbourne on foot. I will board the Spirit of Tasmania and head to Devonport after which I will begin my journey around Australia first walking to Launceston then on to Hobart after which I will return to Devonport where I will again board the Spirit of Tasmania and return to Melbourne to continue the journey heading west and right around the country finishing where I started in Melbourne. Total Kilometres = 15000. Estimated time to complete 12 to 18 months. This will be the FIRST time any one has circumnavigated Australia on foot, continuously in one direction, in costume!!! To get where we are now, to be in the position to present this undertaking to you and the world at large’ it has taken Myself, Philsy (Phillip Blackman- Knightfall squad/TAG member and Media/PR officer at the Monash Children’s Hospital) Mark Marcus – Knightfall Squad Leader and TAG CO Amro Tawfik months of planning. This event will be publicised intensely via all forms of media – Australian print, radio, TV and digital/social and will really put TAG and the 501st in the news. My request to my fellow MEPD brothers is to visit and share the facebook links below and spread the word amongst your own social and professional networks. Lets show them what battle hardened Sandtroopers can do. Of course feel free to donate to the cause via the Everyday hero page. A lot of hard work has gone into this, the hardest part is yet to come; I’m sure you will all join me to celebrate this event and follow me on my journey. https://www.facebook.com/StormingAustralia?ref=stream https://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fgive.everydayhero.com%2Fau%2Fscott_MCH&h=KAQGbKmol&s=1 Cheers Scott Loxley MEPD police officer.
  13. when exactly will this suit be released and made available for sale. and just to confirm, that price is for a complete finished set of armour ?
  14. Great news mate, finally someone can take over from me cleaning out the Dewback stalls.
  15. Vader is not easy to do. I have just about finished my ROTJ Vader, it has taken some time but worth it. Good luck with the build Michael, its alot of fun.
  16. hey neil, i also use the 1 inch strapping and have only had one malfunction due to my error with a buckle. Apart from that not a worry at all. If you have riveted it, which i have also done you will not have a problem, the packs weigh nothing so theres no real weight to shear a strap. Sounds like you got it covered.
  17. if it aint broke dont fix it.
  18. are you ready to go with your costume, you look pretty good
  19. get suited up mate and get into the fight.
  20. Age is of no concern when the Empire comes calling.
  21. Are you making your pack from scratch ? might be easier to buy in kit form.
