OK. Here's some updated pics of the sniper plate & side rivets. I moved the plate up a bit & painted the rivets white. I'll work on the SWAT requirements when I get a few other projects done.

I turned my EFX bucket into a troopable helmet. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I don't really like it that much anymore though lol.

Oh well, there's always hunting/sporting goods shops that want to make money. To heck with Walmart. They seemingly have stopped selling Star Wars figures too...unless they are EPI repacks that we bought a year ago.

Mine hardly weighs anything so I can wear it for however long we troop. If your's bothers you, as mentioned, a harness, or just a simple extra strap across the chest (but under the armor) might help a bit.

I use the nylon straps as well. I use the same to connect my shoulder pouch, but will probably add something else (Velcro probably) since it flops around a bit much.

Its a fun time for sure! I had a blast last year. I wish I could make it this year!

LOL. I totally thought I was the only one who used black duct tape! I don't feel so crazy now.

They are both good, accurate kits. My TK is ATA and I really like it. If pice is your concern, just go with ATA.

ATA works great for your size too. It also comes in ABS or HIPS now, & TD parts are included. I've had nothing but good experience with it.
