Thanks! It's the HIPS from ATA.

There are lot's of guys on here that know a whole lot more than I do about this, but I would probably trim the back plate it I had to, so that the kidney and ab plates lined up at the sides.

Not long ago I got notice that my TD has been approved. MY pics should be up in a few days on the 501st website. I just need to make a few minor adjustments and will be working on that deployed status soon.
-
That would be the emergency chapstick for excessive sun exposure while on a deep desert patrol.

YAYYYYYY! I have been approved, I am now TD/DZ 7508! Now it's time ot get to work on adjusting that pack getting the deployment pics.

Thanks for the tips guys. I will work on the pack, I thought the gap looked a little big.

I have actually been finished for a couple of weeks now and have worn my trooper on one troop already, but I am still waiting to hear if I have been giving my TD status. Overall I am pretty happy with everything. I had to use same fairly large shims on the arms and legs due to my Herculean physique and make some cut outs on the backs of the thighs so that I could walk. I may eventually have to make the abdomen a bit tighter. The only real problem I see is the left shin and sniper plate. I cannot get them to stay lined up. It seems to be because of the way the shin is molded and sits around my calf. I am very happy with my pack, I forgot that it was there many times during the troop, it's so light. Once I get my TD status I will take some more pics for deployment. I want to thank Woodman for taking the pics, and for a few parts and tips to help me look better. Any and all other tips and pointers for deployment are welcome. Thanks

That is so COOL! pun intended. Reminds me of the life size one that was done on that ice sculpture show for the hockey game

Wait a minute, maybe I missed it and somebody already caught this. BUT, did you just say that you peed in your thermal detonator?
-
That is EXACTLY what I was thinking!
-
I think that Tusken is about to knock you out!

That is really cool. When I get my shop I want to create a space similar to this, or a Firefly theme. And I thought this thread was going to be about TPS reports.

Sound effect for T21?
mboyce replied to iconoclasta_88's topic in T-21, DLT-19, RT-97c Heavy Blasters
I'm watching ANH right now, and there is a distinctively different blaster sound other than the E-11 during the stop that ship scene. Also the DLT-19 make a distinctive sound during the cell block scene. It is similar to the AT-AT but a little higher in pitch and it only fires in two round bursts. That sound during stop that ship may be the DLT-19, but if it has a different sound than the e-11, then logically the T21 would. -
Here's what those trays have turned into so far. I still need a mortar tube, and strapping. I placed an order with Gordonator this morning for a cistern. When I get all of that, then it will be weathered like the radio. I just noticed how the lip of the Stow--n-go shows up, it's not noticeable in person.

That is the best commercial ever, hands down. That kid is great!
-
No problem! I can't wait to get this done, so we can do a TD patrol at a troop.

The armor journey begins. I got my kit int the mail today and have already started trimming. I should be doing some homework right now,,,,,but you know how it is.

Sound effect for T21?
mboyce replied to iconoclasta_88's topic in T-21, DLT-19, RT-97c Heavy Blasters
It's funny how the T-21 is considered a light repeating blaster. I used to,,and still do, think of it more as a grenade launcher, concussion or shotgun type of weapon. -
I am doing pack #5, the filter pack. I have almost everything need except the siphon and mortar tube. I'm going to get a white pauldron for the road block/alley/falcon take off Sgt.

I'm so excited, I got my seed trays in from Park today. They seem a little small though. How does all of that stuff fit on there?! I am really glad there are some really great tutorials to go by here. I have a big troop this weekend, so I will probably get to work on them next week.

I plan on making some mods to my Tusken, and hopefully getting my TD done by this summer. Things may not work out as planned with a baby on the way though. As far non Star Wars, I am planning on a Firefly Jayne, and an EU Colonial Marine Combat Vehicle Crewman.

I received mine yesterday. They are in really good shape, but had a light coating of white mildew on them. A quick wash with Murphy's soap and they are drying for a couple of days before a coating of leather conditioner. One of them had the remains of a Spanish cigarette box in it.

Looking good man.

It was a lot of fun! I used yours as inspiration too. I know it's not 100% accurate, but most of it is just stuff I had around the house.

Well, I have my first completed item for my TD,,,other than my undersuit.I'm horrible at taking progress pics because I get so distracted with working, so all I have are finished pics. I started getting antsy, waiting for my helmet to arrive and I really needed to make something. I built this radio from scratch using plastic signs, a couple of square dowels, some misc. caps, the templates from the forum, a fair amount of epoxy, and two days of work. I have a speaker and mp3 player inside and it sounds pretty good, I do need to add a couple of more magnets to the face so it will be stronger though. There is a clear cover over the number dial but it got some over spray on it, I think that if I wind up putting a light behind it it will create a nice glow. Next payday, I'll be ordering some seed trays and a few other things for my pack build. All comments and suggestions are welcome please!
