I was looking through the diagrams Pandatrooper made for all of the sandtrooper ranks with the various combinations of pauldrons, backpacks and weapons. None of the ones I saw had the roadblock pouch. I saw MP38, small, medium and large spanish pouches but no roadblock. Which sandtrooper used this and what rank backpack combo did he have?

I thought weathering was a major requirement to getting in the 501st. I just assumed that you were considered to be a HWT if the armor wasn't weathered. I might put my application in ASAP when the boots arrive.

Mike, thanks for the info on the loop. I hadn't listened to it - just downloaded it for future use. To get in the 501st, I need to weather my armor and have been waiting on the boots. I have a small spanish pouch and a Zaddok shoulder pouch, but will have to wait on a backpack for the forseeable future. I need to figure out a way to wear the shoulder pouch without the backpack strapping. Hopefully that will be enough to get approved.

I had ordered the boots back in November. Mine are supposed to arrive tomorrow and hopefully the weathering will begin this weekend.

Brad, the AT-AT helmet is terrific. What are you using for helmet stands? They look very nice as well.

Mike, so the one heard in your video is the 501st version?

I have a print of the sandtrooper/dewback and it is very well done. The color use is very striking in person.

Well I have to agree with not liking them now. Last night I was looking through some pics from the SE and I kept thinking they just look off compared to the originals, especially the helmets. Guess MEPD has had a sobering effect on me after all.

Did Jabba's sailbarge shrink in the wash or something?

Elliot, If you're going to order TK boots, I'd do it now. They just got in a shipment and should have most sizes in stock. My pair are shipping this week after a two and a half month wait for my size to come in.
