  1. I think you meant white glue, not soap - right?
  2. Very thoughtful of RS Props for this great raffle! Thanks and count me in.
  3. If you want to craze / dull the armor and make it non permanent, mix 50/50 water and white glue. Dry brush or sponge it on. You can remove it with warm soapy water.
  4. Only available for a few days. http://www.graphiclabtees.com
  5. Make sure the E6000 does not sit higher than the height of the bondo.
  6. Check my pack build. I used hidden zip ties, works great.
  7. I finished a set of these a while back, these are scale versions of the shoulder 3 mag pouch and mini tool pouch in Canvas, and the Small Spanish in imitation leather. They are functional and every pouch opens with accurate fasteners. The ones on the left are original full scale pouches *(canvas was originally OD green dyed black, the leather one is a small spanish) These are ton of work, but they turned out nice! Not sure if I will do more in the future, if anything just a set or two if I have time.
  8. On FISD, the chest and back need to be upgraded for higher levels of accuracy. I had an AM and you either need to mod the chest like crazy or simply upgrade to RT-mod chest and back. I'm no sure if NE uses the same plastic as AM as they were / are the same maker but there were some mold origin issues being discussed a while back. Helmet is a no go for sure. Make sure the shin and calf halves are oriented properly as AM molded the ridges on the wrong sides. The hand plates are way too big. I'd recommend upgrading to accurately sized latex ones. Make sure the belt and ammo strip are trimmed accurately. Shoulder bells aren't the best shape but they can be heated and trimmed too.
  9. If you use acrylic, there's no need to seal it. It will wear naturally.
  10. Very well could be. According to the costume designers they scrambled to make the packs and pauldrons by getting stuff from camping / scouting backpacks and sporting goods stores for the chest protector / pauldrons. A canteen isn't that much of a stretch!
  11. Nice job! Nice to see my templates are still useful!
  12. AM armor is no longer made. That type of armor was replaced with NE armor.

  14. Once you are at the top, walk back down and man your post. Yves is easily the most physically active trooper in our squad, proud that he has taken on this challenge.
  15. Theres mold spray you can get. My wife and I and our contractors had to use it when we first got our house. The downstairs bathroom had a leak in the shower stall and when we ripped it out the walls were moldy. We ripped out all the wood and drywall that was moldy and sprayed any other surfaces with this stuff (forgot the name but try home depot) and wiped everything down and dried it out before re building the bathroom. Make sure to get the mold off before it stains.
  16. I cant stand the TD riding and getting off the dewback, looks really bad.
  17. Very nice work! I remember when no one was really making T-21's, now they're all the rage. Great example here.
